Sleaford Mods

If anyone can make it at all, the Sleafords are doing an appearance at Rough Trade West (Notting Hill) for a live set today, as part of Record Store Day. Have just checked the Rough Trade website, and they're due on at 1.45pm there.

Also: said combo are playing on Friday 18th July at The Lexington in Angel. (tickets on sale now)

I dont think it's that odd is it? He seems to have a fairly ambivalent attitude to their new found fame.

I can imagine discovering their fanbase is entirely middle-aged liberals might be a source of some frustration when you make music like that too.

Strongly disagree with this..After their rough trade gig, he was stood around on the pavement, meeting anyone that wanted to say hello to him, thanking them for coming, and was friendly to everyone. That's the only real life experience I have of him, and I'll go with that over internet rumours/twitter quotes.
