Six Nations - 2024

Some good examples of the blitz defence so far being successful for England so far, catching the player as soon as they get the ball forcing knock on etc. Suffocating the attack

And now for the try, how to counter, they slip the ball pass the blitz and come through and score

And I was right about the Scots having figured out how to get behind that rush defence.

Good to see The Pilot score though. Also, cracking drop goal.
They’ve got behind it, it’s certainly not infallible. England have asked questions of Scotland though. Perhaps the England power off the bench will make the difference. You’d expect it.

England are not really scoring enough tries to frighten Ireland or France

England need to score two tries to win, can’t see this happening

Good to see Fin Smith coming on. Need to make a change attacking wise and I think he’s the future

That aged well…

First hattrick scored against England in the 5/6 nations since 1985.

Can anyone tell me what was unusual about that one 39 years ago?
