Six Nations 2022

will sexton have a game in the six nations against france before he retires thats 2 years on the trot

Second half was great to watch as a neutral. One of these teams will win the competition,

Brilliant game from both teams.

The two best teams in the comp?

Oh, for sure, not sure there was ever any question of that.
Edit: same at U20s I reckon, next few years will be interesting

That third quarter thing with France needs sorting ... did the same against the ABs

Should of played for the try really from there with so little time left.

i'm fustrated by the kick through the whole game more than anything
we better in the ruck than doing the same play everytime

what can ya do it appears to be something practised heavly in camp each week

i'd like us to hold onto the ball and run more but it does not appear to be happening

I wasn't sure he was asked to look at that, thought the penalty was for an earlier offence by Ireland?
He was asked 'did France knock on, then was the ball grounded'. The answer to both was given as 'no', so they went back for the penalty, but the answer to the first question should have been a very clear and obvious 'yes'. Would still have been penalty France, so didn't matter. Was just curious how he could look at that footage and not see it.

I only caught the first 20 and then last 20 mate but with what was on the clock I was really hoping that they'd take a chance to go for the try and nick it there. France looked pretty tasty though.

Did it actually go forward though. I presumed that the VR decision was based on it not going forward.

on both our best days it would be a great battle

today was a good match by both sides

but we both should know how we play rugby by now, we let the french take control today

will revert with a better breakdown of the irish failings when i've not be on the beer thru 2 rugby games :)

Genuinely looks like they did some mogadon spliced with a pep talk from Gareth Jenkins at half time. Bizarre second half torpor

You sometimes think the commentators are over-hyping Dupont. Then you watch him.
Yeah, he's a player for the ages

E2A: in terms of how good he is I think only O'Driscoll is a contender for the crown in the modern era in the NH

The thing that blows me away is how many times in a game I think "Fuck me, who was tha .. oh, it's Dupont. Of course"
He just appears everywhere. I genuinely don't know how he does it.
I enjoyed the commentary on the first try about his support lines - all true, but more than that he pops up supporting the ball carrier here

and twenty seconds later is catching the ball over here

and then somehow is now here digging it out of a ruck

Also, I think it's safe to say Villiers has cemented his place at 11, another one who pops up bloody everywhere including at the breakdown. That counter ruck ❤️

England weren’t at their best today even if the score line has them down as winning comfortably. A very laboured and disjointed performance and will need to be better against Wales.

Italy in the second half enjoyed long spells of pressure, but, as is all too often the case for them wasn’t taken.

Great game in Paris. This England team should have been put together a year ago, they will have to do a lot of work to be competitive in the next 3 games.

Saturday was very disappointing. Losing a game that was there to be won but we didnt play well enough to do so or close it out in the end.

like Cheslin Kolbe, really needs to be seen in person to see how amazing he is. Get to see off the ball work which you don't pick due to the constraints of tv footage
