Sexton’s out for Saturday. Got carberry in at at ten. I don’t think Joey is a ten so we will struggle. The evidence is that when Joey came on Saturday he didn’t run the team at all, we became directionless and lost the last quarter 7-0.

This is, unsurprisingly, the game I am most nervous about. After a really wobbly first half against Italy, we turned it on in the second half, but if Ireland can start like they did against the ABs, well ... I just don't know.

Ireland to beat France then, due to injuries sustained in that epic encounter, implode and lose every other game including a 1 point loss to Italy

France to beat everyone after that except Wales who, encouraged by stuffing Scotland go on to take the championship on points

He did okay in the last twenty. There is no doubting his talent, he’s an exceptional player but I don’t think he’s a ten. A fullback yes, with the potential to be the best we’ve ever produced.

I can’t call todays game. I think if we’re able to get parity in the scrum and Joey proves he is heir apparent then if we’re down 5 going into the last ten, then I think we’ll win.

I think Wales will beat Scotland and Italy to pressure England but just fade in the last ten.

I think this year might not be italys year but next year we’ll see all the good work that Steve Aboud has put in getting results.

Really enjoyed this first half - nice and even with good bits of running by both sides.

No pointless kicking. It may just be me but I wonder about a lot of kicking in games. You're giving away possession, and I'd be interested to know what the average kick/return yardage is (obviously depends hugely).

No, been watching it with the bois. That was a classic Gatland victory without Gatland. Dragged Scotland into a rock fight and won it with sheer, filthy grit. Our back play is beyond shite. Our forwards were superb. Bossed the set piece, maul and breakdown.
