Shrinkflation watch

This country is so over.
It's not just one country. It's most of the world.
I bought four batteries for a UPS in February this year. €39.40 for the 4 batteries. I went to buy the same batteries from the same place today, and they're €36 each!
We're getting royally screwed, and not because of minimum wage, or immigrants, it's because greed.

When did slabs of beer reduce in size from 24 cans to 18?

I am sure they were 24 cans when I was one to drink a lot of lager back when I was a bloody lad 20 odd years ago

There’s also been a shift to 440ml being a more standard size than 500ml I think

saying that some are weird like Carling dropping it back.. jebus were they not fined at one point. for having over estimated their abv for years

Spent £3.90 On a bag of fucking opal
Fruits at Millwall the other week and I swear there’s was about 20
In there. I felt like the smashing the place up and and remembered it’s one of the most cctvd grounds in Europe.

I bought a multipack of McCoy's cheddar and onion crinkle cut crisps today. The bags inside are fucking tidgy. You need to scoff two bleedin' bags to make anything near a proper whole bag. I feel proper ripped off.

RIP of Britain was always a bit of annoying phrase but it truly is. Very very few things feel reasonable to me price wise. In a way though it has meant me cutting down on shit I don’t need and save save save.
