I probably only do about two or three journeys a year with a passenger. This is CUTE and presumably being small is better ecologically. I’d definitely have one.

I guess if all those journeys are within an urban area it could work for some people.
It beats a road full of single-occupancy SUVs. Though that's a pretty low bar.

Mercifully, the visibility looks poor, meaning there's not much time between realising the software has glitched and being squished by a lorry.
 
Self driving cars will of course be good for anti car groups and enviromentalists like RTS etc. Throw a sheet of paper in front of one and it will stop, I expect. Stick something over it's sensors and it won't move.
 
The closing speed of vehicles travelling on an A road is up to 120mph - I wouldn't forgive an autonomous car getting into a head on collision with me.
