Show us yer house and house-related meddlings

My parents had lead in the front windows in their 30s mock Tudor house

Never saw the appeal myself I think they eventually replaced it with more leaded windows

That's Bob. Bob is my furry shadow. Every time I opened the door to leave the room where I was spraying the table top, Bob was waiting impatiently outside. Bob likes to explore new places, and he hasn't been in that room, so I had to open the door slightly and shuffle out sideways, lest he broke in and jumped up on top of the freshly lacquered table. Bob likes being on things, particularly things he knows he shouldnt be on. Bob is a bit of a twat :D

Broken shell of a woman! Moved me and the cat over late last night. It feels lovely even though full of boxes. Still gotta clean the rental today, am meant to be working this morning! Luckily my boss is understanding and I can skive off as soon as I’ve caught up on emails after my week off

Front of the house needs redecorating.
To be honest, I remember when we moved in* thinking "that all needs looking at"

Anyway, scaffolding's up and the weather is set to be fine for the next week or so. The good news is apart from the bottom board that was plainly fucked, the rest of the woodwork is, to my total surprise, mostly ok.

I shall keep you posted. Views from the top are alright

The back of that knackered bottom board I mentioned, lying on top of its replacement, so you can see how much wood was gone. Someone had polyfilla'd the gap : facepalm:
