Rishi Sunak's Time is Up

Incidentally has anyone asked him at any stage exactly how he's going to keep the output of these new North Sea rigs in the country when he's giving licences to private firms which have historically exported around 80% of it? It's exceedingly tiresome hearing him bollock on about the importance of domestic production as though it'll all be going straight into dropping pump prices and transport miles.

what is it with Tory PMs being seen pulling a pint, as though that somehow makes them normal?

The photo is about as authentic as a £27 note with Les Dawson's head on it, and the lady behind, mid eye-roll, knows it.

This twat should be rotting in jail on a long corporate manslaughter sentence ("Eat Out to Help Out") not wasting the time of decent people.

Always wondered about those photo ops. Given that they usually end up looking like androids about to go on a killing spree, why do their advisors think it's a clever pr move?
 
Sunak looking very uncomfortable here, preferring to pretend to look at bits of paper on his lap. Anything rather than acknowledge what Starmer has to say. Who, it has to be said makes a some rather valid points. The whole vermin front bench look uncomfortable tbh:

As his rating is higher than his party doesn't that make him asset? Should put a red tie on (think that's the main difference Keith is offering and he's at +20)

He’s doing an emergency (as in not previously scheduled) press conference at 4.30 today. It would seem weird to do that just to kick some Net Zero deadlines into the long grass, so what do we reckon he is planning? An early election? Resigning due to some yet-to-be-revealed impropriety?

My bet is an update on his five pledges. Inflation is down 0.1% so he’s probably jumped on that as a sign he’s on his way to halving it.
