Rishi Sunak’s time is up!

The Beeb has the current list of outgoing but no incoming yet

  • Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg was the first to step down
  • Then Brandon Lewis announced he'd be quitting as Justice Secretary
  • Wendy Morton tweeted that she has resigned her role as chief whip
  • Tory Party chairman Jake Berry has also left
  • Brandon Lewis has said he will go - leaving the role of Wales Secretary vacant
  • Sunak is set to appoint the fifth education secretary since July as Kit Malthouse quit
  • Levelling Up Secretary Simon Clarke - who served in the Treasury when Sunak was Chancellor - is also out
  • Ranil Jayawardena tweeted a resignation letter as he steps back from his role as Environment Secretary
  • Junior ministers Vicky Ford and Chloe Smith are also leaving cabinet
  • Finally, Alok Sharma remains a Cop26 president but it is no longer a ministerial role
Did Brandon Lewis have two hats then?

if he keeps people like braverman in positions of power as they're saying he will, in order to 'bring the party together' that's the clearest way he could announce to everyone that it's the tory party he's primarily concerned about, nothing else.

Isn't it more the opposite, because he wouldn't be able to do much for the country if the parliamentary party are split? He would say that by having everyone on board he stands a better chance of achieving stuff.

Of course it's only the Tory party he's concerned about. That and, moreover, his own vainglorious ego and him wanting his own little footnote in British political history. The man is the pure definition of a career opportunist. A career opportunist of the worst kind; an ultra slick operator whose 'caring, one nation' mantra hides a taste for blood.

She is a completely off the wall extremist and she shouldn't be anywhere near high office, but lets see its not confirmed yet.

The single good thing that could come of this would be getting rid of Wallace and going back on the intention to embark on a massive wave of armament.

I'm not really aware of an anti-Rishi faction to the extent that there was with Johnson and Truss.
This disappoints me.

Looks like this time the extended team has as much chance of bringing the whole thing down as the PM.
