Come on then people, admit it who hasn't tried it
it would be harder to do with the ridged cuffs the met tend to use

Little pistols are not known for their accuracy.
I dont think that for a minute. So, is there a consensus now that this was some dodgy plod taking out one of their own, and framing some random with a bit of puff?
I mean I guess nothing is impossible but it seems a messy way to go about it.
The rot never goes awayRight. An old book. And what's happened in that area to support your suggestions in the intervening sixteen years?
So you don't knowThe rot never goes away
See my first post on the matterSo you don't know
You're not pointing to anything that's happened in the last 30 yearsSee my first post on the matter
I was making a wild speculation fuelled by watching a ludicrous thriller about corruption in the police force and collusion with gangsters. But in hindsight, I don’t think it’s all that far fetched, considering how corrupt cops are. You're not pointing to anything that's happened in the last 30 years

The only death in custody to be vigorously investigatedI can't see the CCTV that is being studied disappearing. Not in this case. Well I suppose it could be wiped accidentally but unlikely in such a high profile murder.

I have read your first post. You claim they're not telling the truth, adducing no evidence to support this statement. You are a 'loon.Who hasn’t read my first post
Who would have thought someone with class B & AMMO might have a gun?Its insane enough to be true, reality doesn't need to make much sense, its fiction that has to be rational.
Its just baffling they didn't find the gun before they put him in cuffs, presumably some coppers feeling very guilty right now.
this was the other similarly implausible incident that immediately sprung to mind.It seems to me less likely than Smiley Culture stabbing himself in the heart whilst cuffed just up the road from this incident in Warlingham.
Met handcuffs are not like that. They are rigid. No flex between the hands.this was the other similarly implausible incident that immediately sprung to mind.
no if met handcuffs are like this
rather than the cuffs being linked by a small chain, does that effect ones ability to do whats been suggested happened?
They generally separate the keys and cuffs by a greater distancethis was the other similarly implausible incident that immediately sprung to mind.

And if my experience is typical it's one hand one way and the other the other, not side by side so your hands would be on top of each other behind your backMet handcuffs are not like that. They are rigid. No flex between the hands.
I read that the man with the gun was in a cell and shot the policeman when he opened the cell door. So it's possible nobody else was near. I didn't realise people in cells would still be handcuffed, but I am purely basing that on Channel 4 programmes . Maybe if the cell was part of the custody suite he'd still be cuffed till booked in though. Its baffling on a number of points.
I dont suggest any great conspiracy. But it remains baffling.
- How did the shooter have a pistol on him in the custody centre?
- How was the shooter able to retrieve and deploy his pistol whilst in rigid cuffs, fastened behind his back whilst being supervised by two arresting officers?
- How was the shooter able to discharge so many accurate shots without being tackled?
