I had never seen them before, I have walked in that area but not through that meadow as it’s usually too boggy. When on the train I tend to sit on the other side of the carriage for the sea viewYou can see those cows from the train. Out past the racecourse.
I've been consistently walking to the park at lunchtimes to see at least one duck, and recently I thought I might bring some food for them, and they are massively underwhelmed by it. Tangibly underwhelmed.

I mean it's just some oats from a big bag from Sainsburys but I read that ducks were fine with oats. It was on the RSPB site and everything. But if I don't throw something in the water the little feathery cunts just sit out of view and quack at each other.
eta: the coots liked the oats. Maybe I should go watch coots.
This feels like some sort of aspirational duck thing. Hans Christian Andersen clearly messed with the minds of mallards.Pets At Home sell swan food, the ducks love it. We managed to cause three full on duck fights last weekend when we took a pot of it to the local pond
Couple from today , Mr & Mrs Swan & the Swan kids close to Woodberry Down , (they did not break my arm) and bird house, close to Walthamstow Wetlands
