Obi Wan Kenobi

I do like how these shows and the modern star wars movies can finally show the actual power of the force. Vadar bringing down the ship and holding off Reva with his force could never have been done in the original trilogies and is good display of why he is so feared. And my cats also liked watching it
Counterpoint.
Vader wasn't at the top of the food chain at all in the first film, he didn't use, and wasn't known to use the force for much more than being a bully (or people wouldn't have sassed him and he would have further up the ranks). They even mention that the force was was (and I quote) "some old bullshit magic cult that nobody can remember and can't do shit bar a couple of parlour tricks".
So yeah, he wasn't 'so feared' for anything more than being a tall and ruthless right hand man. . . . and he just the right amount of feared for that.

Satisfying conclusion to the series.
Well, I guess it is that to be fair. Overall I still feel the series has been a massive missed opportunity to showcase a seldom seen period in the SW universe in greater detail, and with a minimum degree of legacy characters but concentrating on the expanded universe/ secondary characters. This feels like a massive fan service job.

Can we please now have a Luke after ROTJ series.
We had a snippet of him in Mando, which I much enjoyed but only as the minor cameo role it was.

I am very much looking forward to the forthcoming Andor series, being a prequel story about everyone’s favourite gruesome twosome from Rogue One: Cassian Andor and K-2SO. And more importantly, set a handful of years before A New Hope in the almost completely unexplored era of the birth of the Rebel Alliance. And most importantly of all, it will (surely!) be free of Jedi, Force-happy characters and anyone related to the Skywalker family.

Droid isn't going to feature in the series, afaik. So far...

Nah. Need more Lukey. The greatest jedi of them all 😎

Yeah, you're not a fan of women characters

I still cant stand the michone and rick relationship. she is so unattractive.

i just forward the rick and michone lovey dovey parts as they are a terrible couple. total mismatch.

They have signed Woopi Goldberg for season 2 which is negative already in my books as never liked her character in the tng.

i found scenes with her and saul boring. more lalo was required.

I found Kimiko to be a boring character and just forwarded the talking scenes with her brother.

I'm tired of burnham constantly looking on the verge of tears. enough with the crying.

Hopefully we see the end of the boring Kimiko and Frenchie characters.

found this episode dull. anything to do with Gabrielle is boring. the swamp scene was boring. that whats her face who wanted to kill dwight made no sense considering she didn't have any issues switching sides when she was on the Guvonors camp.

I found it very clunky, nowhere near as good as the other new series.
Yeah, I enjoyed it at the beginning but as the series went on it started to creak more and more. Too many things happened to just to get people in the right place at the right time to have the flashy lightsabre fight, too many almost-deaths but we know this person has to live so something will happen to save them (like a fire would stop Vader using the force, or Vader wouldn't able to detect Kenobi's use of the force while covered in rocks and just assumed he was dead?), and Third Sister's storyline just did not hang together at all, like they'd planned the twist halfway through the series.
So she spent years plotting revenge for the killing of jedi children by...killing jedi children? She spent years getting close to Vader to kill him, then finally her method was to try and sneak up behind him with a lightsabre? Then when she no longer had to kill jedi children for the Empire she went off to kill Luke anyway, not even kidnapping him to try to get to Kenobi? Oh and while I'm here in the spoilers, the death of the rebel empire insider whatshername was accidentally quite a radical thing for a series like this because she did a big martyrdom scene and it had no effect on what happened whatsoever - if I thought this was genuinely a comment on purposeless heroism in war I'd actually be impressed but it was just shoddy writing

have watched a couple so far, the biggest problem is princess leia
the acting is the worst kind of pushy-parent child star making
so bad even the little girl from Caravan of Courage is better

its not like there aren't great child actors - some of the best performances in film history have been by young children. You'd think with it being Star Wars they might try harder to get everything right....I can only presume this was a conscious decision rather than a mistake
her acting is bad but her dialogue is poor too tbf. just too Disney for me, i had to fast forward sometimes as it was too cringey.
young anakin was crap too tbh....as was teenage anakin in fact!

...also i put episode one up on the projector and it looked shonky - actually works better on a small laptop screen - this is very much a TV show.

Binged it during a week off, maybe that was the wrong way to do it and would have been better taking in the episodes weekly.

It felt, a bit, meh. Not enough interesting moments between what few key people were in the show.

Just watched EP1
What a steaming turd.
Actually laugh out loud lousy when flea from red hot chilli peppers is chasing the ridiculously precocious Leia.
