Now Jurgenna believe us - Liverpool 20/21

But actually yeah about that asterisk. Things are radically different with the season. Just seen the last 11 Premier League games haven't produced a home win (I'm talking the whole league, this week)

A whole Saturday afternoon's results in the top division on the old Grandstand without a home win.

And that happened...never.

It’s getting beyond embarrassing now. I just can’t get my head around it. Such a collapse in a short period of time. I know injuries, player fatigue, no fans etc all plays a part but surely not to this extent.

We have two of the best strikers in the world who couldn’t score in a brothel right now. Defence is shit, midfield has no imagination, everything is wrong. Just want this season to be over and rebuild to be honest.

TBF I think this is always going to be a consequence of having a team that was so driven by belief as your lot have been for the past couple of seasons (both in terms of them never thinking they'd lose and the opposition never thinking they'd win) losing that belief.

The Leeds game at home (especially) and Villa away showed the rest of the league that having a go might work, and the more its worked the lower confidence levels have gotten across the squad. I'm not sure you could ever rebuild your way of it, and its a huge problem for Klopp.

The likes of Origi and Shaqiri don't start many games cos the manager doesn't rate them. We don't have the strongest squad anymore is an important factor.

Only saw MotD but Shaqiri wasn't actually bad on that. And that first-touch cross on the left wing he gave for the Salah goal the other week was inspired

Just remember him playing so well for Stoke last year.

Something, something must win game
Two goal cushion tbf. Obviously Leipzig cant play as bad as they did in the first half of the last tie and it depends how they approach the game but I think they'll leave themselves open at times in chasing the two goals.

We winned a game :D

Listened on the wireless. Still sounded less convincing than it could have been and a few wasted chances.

Good to have Fabinho back where he should be :)

Should have scored loads especially in the first half.

Tbf it was a very good performance. Felt we bossed it. Like the team of last season. Clearly having midfielders in midfield is a huge difference. Fab man of the match. Controlled midfield, have the centre backs extra protection and which allowed wing backs to go at them.

Amazing how one minor change makes all the difference. Now to trash wolves on Monday.

Liverpool have won four consecutive away games without conceding a single goal in a single season in all competitions for the first time since March 1988.

Liverpool record their biggest league win at Arsenal since October 1893 when they won 5-0 at the the Manor Ground in the first ever league meeting.

Mo Salah has scored 6 goals in 6 Premier League appearances in London this season. Only John Aldridge (7 in 1988-89) has ever scored more away league goals v London clubs in a single season for Liverpool.
