Netherlands v Argentina (Semi Final) Wednesday 9th July 2014

Shorter players having shorter legs means they have more control and shielding of the ball due to the shorter lenght of stride.
They also have more stability as there feet are in mid air forca shorter space of time.
CoG is relative to body mass so height is only one variable contributing to stability and therefore agility.
Doesn't mean a tall skinny player cant dribble a good. They just look gangly and more prone to being tackled.

Surely long legs help with all that running up and down the pitch. They're huge!

This is like a game from some previous World Cup not what we have been enjoying so far this time around!

This is why Subbuteo was so good.
Or why ideally a player should have a skinny abdomen and massive thighs and arse.

That is actually part of a real song - and a nice song too - but you'll never want to hear the good version of it again because ITV have ruined it. That's what ITV do though isn't it?
Every tournament, guaranteed to be shit at everything

this is the thing, you can cover more distance in less steps with long legs, but shorter legs are better for quick turns and change of direction, which is what you want in making mad maradonna style runs, especially if space is limited

So Inspector Gadget would be good?

i think thats true on the whole, they are more entertaining, but Argentina have a lower centre of gravity, while Netherlands lose 20% of their heat from Robbens head, so it kind of evens out
He should grow a comb over for extra power  he could grow a fucking good one tbf

Once you've established that your opponent has no attacking intent at all, surely you push on a little bit, no?

I'm not convinced a chorus that sickly could form part of a 'nice' song.

Either way, I never want to hear any part of it again.
