I know exactly what you are, and it's neither a vegetarian or a vegan.I am a daytime vegigan! And I’m not asking you since you don’t believe in them

What I mean is no one is pretending it is a neutral descriptive term like Larry is.
He's broadening the definition of vegigan.I know exactly what you are, and it's neither a vegetarian or a vegan.
vegihorno plays saxvegifarian listens to a lot of reggae
It's basically anyone eating anything now! He's broadening the definition of vegigan.
Plenty of people have suggested descriptive terms you have refused to use.I didn't claim it is neutral, I claimed it is descriptive. As for neutrality, it's not like I haven't invited editor to provide another term if he feels it not to be "neutral" (whatever that is) enough. He chose not to.

Probably because I'm slightly dyslexic.Whats's the "i" doing there if it's a portmanteau? Inquiring minds actually couldn't give a fuck.

Well may you palm your faceI'm not sure vegigans eat eggs or drink milk.
But is perfectly suitable for the threads needs and is used elsewhere that way. Vegigan includes people eating steak so it doesn't really do the job.Such as? The only one I've seen that even comes close was "non-meat eater" which doesn't work because everyone eats non-meat things, it would have to be "non-(meat eater)" which is way too clunky with the brackets.
Tell you what, go away and come back with some other options. Then start a thread with a poll to see which meets with most favour. Then we can proceed with terminology all can agree on.Such as? I think JimW's advice was sound though and it should be spelled vegegan.
Except the person who coined the phrase of course. What I mean is no one is pretending it is a neutral descriptive term like Larry is.
So it wasI think you'll find Vegegan ® was my makey uppy word
Perhaps you should check the definition of vegetarian. Vegetarianism - Wikipedia With the wide range of vegetarians it's probably even more important to have an alternative word like vegigan.Well may you palm your face
Go on then, retail the word around the media so it gets taken up. Off you pop, now you've something important to do.Perhaps you should check the definition of vegetarian. It's really not, you know.Perhaps you should check the definition of vegetarian. Vegetarianism - Wikipedia With the wide range of vegetarians it's probably even more important to have an alternative word like vegigan.
It's really not, you know.

I don't see anyone adopting the poster's makey uppey word and that's why it died an immediate death ten years ago.A quick Google brings up This for vegan from 2010. A vegetarian bulletin board where most of the vegetarians don't have a problem with the term vegan. It would appear it's just a few sensitive souls on here that do.
And from that thread:
Making up your own term is probably a lot more confusing to others than just using the correct one!
I do not approve of this "vegegan" term.
think the more appropriate term is 'dietary vegan'
I would say vegetarian or strict vegetarian.
That REALLY doesn't support your argument in the slightest.See post 2635
Strange then how there are vegegan hashtags on faceache and twatter and several vegegan cookbooks and blogs etc.I don't see anyone adopting the poster's makey uppey word and that's why it died an immediate death ten years ago.
