Manchester United 19/20: You can't win anything with kids (revisited)

I hope we get relegated.

i hope we go down a few divisions and every away game will feel like a home match, just like it was when City were down there filling out 80% of the stadiums.

That’ll get rid of some of the chaff.

We should have stuck with Moyes, we should have persevered with LVG and now we should see it through with Ole. The manager’s haven’t been the problem, it’s the cretins in the boardroom. Ken Woodward is about as much use as a chocolate radiator where the football is concerned and the less said about the Glazer’s the better.

I also hope we allow that stadium to become even more dilapidated. Gives it character.

Strange how here in Korea all the past united supporters support Spuds now, so fickle.

Park Ji-sung (previously)
Son Heung-min (currently)

For a nation that spent years (and still does) hot housing childhood sporting talent in order to claim national pride via international competitions. Kind of makes sense.

I had a student who was taken out of school at 11 to play baseball in day out. Didn’t make it and now has zero access to what we might call gainful employment.

Ole will have cast a beady Norwegian eye on the overall performance but especially when trailing 2-0.

Periera is no more than a shirt filler. Fred, without guidance from McTominay quickly reverted to type. Lindelof is still not physically imposing enough for Premiership. Martial's super sulk on being substituted (which was probably a mistake) still spoke volumes. Williams although physically under the cosh was not intimidated as his goal showed. Diamond. Ditto Greenwood coming off bench. Outside of midfield the continuing issues around Lindelof and Martial can be sorted in house. Tuanzebe and Greenwood respectively. Up to 70 minutes Utd were almost as bad as they were at West Ham and Newcastle. It was after the changes, that provides a glimpse of what they can become.

Team rested after the embarrassing defeat against 'some people' from Kazakhstan so should be easy to beat a team sitting in the bottom quarter of the league.
United's solitary defeat in 24 Premier League home games against Aston Villa came a decade ago.
Should be a very easy win today. Anything less that winning by a 4-5 goal margin is going to raise eyebrows :hmm:

United have now taken just 18 points from their opening 14 league games.

That means Solskjaer must guide them to wins in their next three games if they are to surpass the 26 points Jose Mourinho amassed when he was sacked after 17 games in 2018-19.
The 'wins in their next three games' should be easy enough :)

Solskjaer has a point when he says the league is very fluid and that a small run of some consistency would put United in a more respectable position. However he could well be hung on his own words.Imagine if Sheffield Uniteds position was actually held by another Yorkshire club, Leeds United.

Aston Villa was Ole Solskjaer's 50th game in charge of Man United.

25 wins, 11 draws, 14 defeats. 1.72 points per match.

14 of those 25 wins came in his first 17 games.
11 wins in 31 games since March 30th - his first game as permanent manager.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told his players he could be sacked depending on his side's results against Tottenham and Manchester City in their next two games.
Sounds like a fair chance we will see #oleout if that is true :hmm:
