Glazers agree scheme to allow fans to buy Manchester United shares
Concession comes after latest wave of protests against botched European Super League plan
The billionaire US owners of Manchester United will allow fans to buy shares in the club, in a concession designed to assuage supporter anger over its botched attempt to join the breakaway European Super League. The club on Friday said it would set up a “fan share scheme”, creating a new class of shares with the same voting rights as the Glazer family, who acquired the club in a £790m leveraged buyout in 2005.
Lingard put United in front early on but QPR soon took control, smashing four goals in before Anthony Elanga's consolation strike made the scoreline slightly more bearable
Well, I dunno. But even if he does I suspect it will be another season of a few good games, transfer talk, going back into his shell again. He's so good when he's on it that it's worth building the midfield in a way that let's him play with his France quality (whatever that is, football formations are a mystery to me). I'd hate to see him drifting for a couple more seasons, he should be at the height of his powers now.
Wouldnt want to read too much into the first game of the season but with Varane and Sancho added to this Man Utd squad they are my tip for a good run in the Europa League.
