Manchester United 19/20: You can't win anything with kids (revisited)

From Tactical Times:
Worth mentioning, perhaps, that Man United over their 18 league games have an average of 53% of the possession. That's not dominating.

Plenty of the draws have them with a majority though. All except Liverpool, against them they averaged just 32%

Martial will take the plaudits but it was the Greenwood goal that turned the game. Again here, as with many of his goals, there was a moment of calm before he squeezes the trigger that marks him out as a natural born killer.

Did not know this about Lingard:

17 PL games
0 goals
0 assists
0 clean sheets

:hmm: how is that possible?

Clueless Norwegian picked him on his past form against arsenal  You go on current form, not how a player performed in the past against a team. He hasn't done anything this season in the PL to get a start against Arsenal.

Also pointed out by RVP, our out of his depth manager's smiling happy post match interview was bizarre.

Manchester United’s Paul Pogba needs an operation on an ankle injury and is set to be out for “three or four weeks”, says manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pogba was not in the United squad for the New Year’s Day defeat at Arsenal.

The France midfielder, 26, only made his comeback last month from an ankle problem that had kept him out since the end of September

It wasn't a 'smiling post match interview' half-wit. He raised a brief smile twice in a 7 and a half minutes. On both occasions it was in response to questions unrelated to the match itself.

Understand Lingard can’t play due to illness and Martial is out as well. Not sure if that is a positive or negative?

Can Sanchez come back from loan?

Couple of Cupsets today already. The Utd team is out, feeling confident against Wolves?

Fans seem a bit grumpy on social media

Maybe Ole has one eye on the Carabao Cup semi-final?

That was an appalling game of football. Wolves were shite but Utd were fucking shite. Zero shots on target and time wasting at the end ffs

Both have got Europa League and comparatively thin squads tbh . Wolves had a very hard set of fixtures over the festive season . Only watched glimpses of it but not sure if Utd had a shot on target , would have expected Ole to go for glory .
