Manchester United 19/20: You can't win anything with kids (revisited)

Tee hee.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær needs more time and respect at Manchester United

Apparently some players are injured and he's had a couple of bad decisions.

*bitter laugh*. Cry me a river.
Theres some big claims in there.

'Solskjær has been widely criticised for not replacing Romelu Lukaku, but he recognised that teams with Lukaku in them don’t win trophies.Solskjær wanted more from a No 9, and effectively replaced Lukaku with Anthony Martial (who in turn was replaced by Daniel James).'

'Of the four managers at Old Trafford since Ferguson, Solskjær has been easily the best in the transfer market. His signings so far are both instant hits and part of a long-term plan'

:hmm: the whole article is a bit weird tbh. Wasn't sure if I should put it in the "Guardian down the pan" thread.

"The players know when it's Liverpool coming up it's a game that's going to be watched by many," says Ole. "It's a chance for our players to get in the history books, because if you score a winner against Liverpool, that's always going to be there with them." #MUFC

Silva and Solskjaer in the firing line as Premier League returns

Latest manager sacking odds from Oddschecker

Marco Silva (6-5) is the clear favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave ahead of the return of domestic top flight action this weekend.

However, it’s Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that is the most popular pick from punters to go next, accumulating 28% of all bets this week.

That’s by far the most in the market ahead of United’s clash with Liverpool this weekend, with the Red Devils boss 3-1 to leave before his Premier League cohort.

Didn’t materialise though did it. You’re running out of steam and failed to equal City’s record as a result.

My guess is they’ve been doping over at Melwood and that’s why you’ve been running at full pelt for so long. It belies human biology. I could be wrong though as you and Spurs did stink the place out with that awful CL final. City would have hammered you in that final had Tottenham not luckily gotten past them.

Stick to your mastubatory nonsense on that Liverpool thread. Christ it’s emetic.

Yanited!

A team Liverpool beat 5-1 over two legs.

4 goals in 40 mins.

Somewhat similar to the 5 goals City put past Liverpool 5 months earlier.

The same team that beat them 1 - 0 and then WWWW all the way to the league.

What’s your point?

The 1 - 0 and WWWWWWW was last season. You’re talking about 17/18.

That you are talking shite. City weren't in the final. They didn't make it. Liverpool did. And won it.

Although David Moyes only lost 15 times as permanent manager after 53 games. Whereas Ole has lost 13 after 28 games :hmm:

Also see that a lot of the Utd fans are using the #SaudisIn hashtag at the moment.

Whilst the Melwood doping machine rides on - and on - and on and on and on.

Thing about footballers is they're just so fit these days. That's why they can run about for 90 minutes without getting tired. It's just a great diet and wonderful fitness coaches.
