Each instance is low threshold, admittedly. But the incessant repetition of undermining language, sniveling jibes, checking his story for accuracy against a map, clockwatching him, comparing his blog postings to his postings here to catch him out on perceived discrepancies, devaluing his little victories and diminishing his achievements...day after day since this journey started, that begins to add up to a vendetta in my opinion.

It's wholly negative in both origin and effect.

Wookey you have seen the amount of abuse Stanley has dished out unprovoked on this thread, how he's sneered at other posters, yes?

How in one breath he calls those with jobs 'sad fuck losers, only obsessed with making money' and in the next demanded adoration for his new expensive watch?

You show just One single example of any abuse I have dished out that was not in response to abuse received, and I may just take you a little more seriously in future.

When I refer to 'you lot/you fuckers', I am only referring to those who have piled abuse my way. Plenty of good posters here.

You seem to think all I have got from this adventure is a watch. Tells me fucking loads about the sort of person you are.
 
Poached mackerel on a bed of potato and speckled bean (dunno) herby salad with a tomato, chili salsa. Not a single thing bought :) Very delicious.

Mackerel was wrapped tightly in foil with a coriander stuffing. Plunged into boiling water for 10 minutes. Works very well.
 
All of these sketches I sell don't just pay for my day. They find homes on walls of offices, schools, houses... wherever. There as permanent reminders. Sooner, or later a job comes in.

This is not bragging (as some seem to think). I am just sharing knowledge and letting others who have any ambition know how I do it. It may help them.

Seems all are on the beach today. Very quiet Sunday afternoon here in Faro.
 
Faro is a bit fucking shit actually.

No people here today. Only people in town are going to McDonald's, or the mini-market. So, I have set-up a pitch smack bang between the Two. Hanging on to see if any Sunday evening revellers come along, then moving on in the fresh night air.

I sort of had an initial wrong feeling about the place, which then turned good, but now it is just very wrong. Costing much more than it is delivering - no art buyers here. Move Stan. Move quickly. There is danger here.

The Two biggest qualities in people I respect most are 'courage', and 'ambition'. You can mock all you like, but I know the reality is that you wish you had both of those qualities in the quantities I have them.

In sum, then, you have no ambition beyond staying in the rut of your peripatetic existence, trudging from town to town until you are no longer capable of the demanding life of the itinerant artist. No desire to alter, improve or vary your artistick output. No desire for a relationship. No putting a spot aside for when you're infirm. That's not ambition, that's foolishness, chuck.

As for your pisspoor pen portrait, you missed out jealous.

Kabbes had posted 'living off the land' *and that's what posted in response. No-one gave you any abuse Stanley Edwards before that point, you started it.

As for the watch, no it's not the only thing I think you've got from this adventure. But it is the thing you demanded adoration for from those on the thread because 'it cost lots of money'.

You're clearly a talented artist, no-one disputes that. I like seeing the pictures you create even if it's not to my particular taste. What I don't like is your sense of entitlement, freeloading and abusiveness to others, or the sneering you show to posters because you don't like the way we live our lives.

If it really is water of a duck's back, iwhy do you then go on to issue your blood-curdling albeit rather unspecific threat?

I'd quite like to know what powers you think you have, and how you are going to use them to grind Pickman or anyone else here into dust - dead dust.

I assume it's not a literal death threat, but if you are going to prove that the pen or indeed the paintbrush is mightier than the sword, you are going to have to raise your game as I've seen little evidence of you being a latter day Emily Zola let alone an Emile Zola
