I think that's confirmed caualties. BBC are only confirming 2 deaths.

I guess that most of the worst casualties will still be on what's left of the trains, 300ft underground, down a dark tunnel.

scary.

I mean that the 'security services' have temporarily taken over all vodafone's offices and operations, due to the inherent security risk posed by large and sophisticated cellular networks (inside news, as it were)
OK ta I don't really understand such stuff. Why just Vodafone?

well the traffic is moving, but a whole load more police have just gone past our office down towards kings cross station...

I thought that when I tried to use my mobile (had that horrible paranoid moment flashing back to JFK when they talk about the phones being cut to stop the wrong story getting out). Couldn't contact work to see if everything is ok but got emails through, thank fuck for the internet.

Radio 5 is saying unconfirmed reprts that the bus was the work of a suicide bomber !

right - he showed his true colours after dunblane -he's honed it a bit since then - he does it pretty well don't you think? isn't this blatently planned to coincide with most of the police and security services being on the golf course -- i really wonder how much golf they were getting in this morning --

how many handicaps does one man need eh george?

IntoStella, I live in Hammersmith ..... if you or anyone around here can't get home - PM me, we have plenty of room if you can't get home tonight, or if you want a drink or something while waiting for the tubes to come back up.
Ditto anyone stuck in the Old St area. I can do a nice pot of tea.

have you been evacuated kea?
if not pls get out

Probably safer within the building - very unlikely they will have devices powerful enough to affect Canary wharf badly. Worse to be caught by outside blasts
