The guy is ancient, nothing wrong with that but why can't they have a 40 or 50 year old nominee for the presidency, Kennedy was in his 40s I believe when he was elected.

Come on democrats, Biden is too old now you need a new candidate

you're right to be. i haven't heard a single word of it and i listen to the local newsradio each morning, spend my days faffing about on the net, subscribe to more than one daily political newsletter, and a google search gives only hits from june 1.

Actually the second of these is from some time ago, but still, he has fallen over a few times.

I will have another look to see if I can find the second recent episode. I think I heard about it on a recent news broadcast.

But it isn't true that after the first incident he got to his feet quickly and unaided. He was lifted to his feet by two large men.

This is quite interesting



I think what might have happened is that I heard about the graduation ceremony fall and how it was presented (what I heard) was "Biden falls again" ..

But as most of us here don't have any input electorally don't have to make electoral comparisons.Biden fell over . Trump falling out a golf cart would be in aa Trump thread most likely without anyone referencing Biden on a bike (bet he has fallen out of a golf cart)
 
I am not ageist, I just think it is time for Biden to retire graciously and let a younger person take up the challenge.

If he managed to get elected in 2024 [aged 81] (which I personally doubt will happen) he would be in office when he was 85 years old.

Surely that just isn't wise?

There must be younger possible candidates in the Democrat party.

I dislike Biden as much as the next actual socialist, but the stuff about him falling over is a straightforward rehashing of the same talking point about Trump while he was president, and frankly this whole bit of the thread speaks more about what you're prepared to regurgitate than it does to Biden's steadiness on his feet.

Except the episode with H Bidens laptop does stink . You come across as quite partisan. Personally , I am quite happy to have some otherness with US politics.
For all we have our own problems

If the laptop story stinks, then it's because of the complete mishandling of the alleged evidence, rendering it utterly worthless for proving anything. Funny how they fucked up the chain of custody that badly, isn't it? Almost like it was a load of bollocks to begin with.

hmm did the experts who investigated the laptop not find multiple incidences of data manipulation on the thing and was it not a republican party member who was found responsible for leak hunter kawk shots onto the web

There's plenty to criticise the US Democrats for. But this laptop bullshit ain't it. It's a distraction whipped up by Republican nutters.
