nothing wrong with hiding your posting history(didn't know you could) posters can have very valid reasons why they want privacy

The only posters I know who have done this are (No I'm serious) Jazzz, Dwyer and LiamO.

No one can hide their posting history.

Theres a function to hide your posting history in your profile page. Thats the easiest way to search someone's history. As Butchers said it's impossible to hide your posting history but you can make it a more difficult to search it. The only posters I know who have done this, are ones who seem to delight in posting controversial/dishonest/disingenuous material.

Cue LiamO claiming he's never done the above, aside from oh I dunno starting a vaguely anti semitic thread a few days after CR got a light banning for a similar posting. I'd give more examples but as I mentioned he's gone and made his previous posting history a tad obtuse.

No comment about Jazz and LiamO, but AFAIK Dwyer keeps his profile page private because of his work.

i thought you could make your profile private except to you followers?

Yeah because dywer was so professional. Shall I dig up some links?

No need, already seen.

In my arrogant opinion it's hardly fair to discuss it while he can't reply. If you did that to somebody in a pub (or in your own home) it'd be incredibly rude.

Now, back to the main topic of this thread?

lol.

who is this 'we' for whom you now claim to speak?

How much of this 'pharmaceutical industry that is world renowned' that your 'we' developed is owned by Irish entrepreneurs... and how much is owned by huge US and International corporations simply taking advantage of Irish corporation tax (lowest in Europe?) and looking for a cheap way into European markets, whilst taking full advantage of a well-educated, non-unionised, acquiescent - and let’s be honest, grateful - workforce?

Besides, making a few million hard-on pills below in Cork does not a culture of intellectual vigour make. Oh, and is the multi-national drugs conglomerate Pffizer not now considering closing down it's Cork plant cos the international patent licence (or whatever you call it) on Viagra - ie their licence to print money - is about to expire?

You mean the patents that Pfizer has in countries around the world for the sildenafil production process.

There is no such thing as an international patent. Also while licences for patents are common, a company would not license patents from itself*

*In some cases intergroup companies may license patents between each other, but company A would not license to company A as it would make no sense.

So you'd stoop to what you believe is his level, or do you prefer to be better than that?
I don't think someone getting themselves banned means I need to stop talking about them. I'm saying nothing I wouldn't post to his metaphorical internet face. It's completely different to talking about someone behind their back with the conversation not being recorded for posterity on the forums.

The Faroe islands have the most nobel prizes per capita by a long long way. They control the world I tells ya.

For the record, I don't think LiamO is antisemitic - I spoke to someone who knows him today and I don't believe for a second they'd have spoken about him in the terms they did if he was. I do think he's stirring to get one back for his mate though and ought to have a good think about how that affects posters on here who've either been victims of antisemitism or their families have - it's out of order.

I don't think he is either :). I think he's just shit stirring to get back for CR (who isn't actually banned). I usually find him a quite entertaining poster so I was surprised at him coming out with this.

It could be as simple as taking the views of a psychologist at face value, and being unaware of the depth of discredibility (is that a word?) of some of the erroneous (and racist) extrapolations that some in that profession have made.

The best link* no longer exists.

*In case you're wondering, it was one to a "rate my professor" page in the US, where a couple of students gave the Welsh Wizard a less-than-glowing review. I believe that he did the old "take down this libel or I'll sue" schtick on the site-owner. :)
