Is Elon Musk the greatest visionary or the greatest snake oil salesman of our age?

The ironic thing is that is goes to show, yet again, what a clueless gobshite Musk is. Unfortunately for the UK, Farage has been the most wildly successful politician the UK has seen for decades in terms of gaining attention and support from powerful forces. I doubt this will oust Farage, though if he goes I suspect he'd be replaced by someone ideologically even worse, but without whatever-the-fuck-it-is that draws people to Reform. The downside is that I think my husband might be right that if Farage is ousted from Reform, he'll be the next Tory leader once they've got him in with a by-election.

Yeak ukip imploded once farage left them and the same would happen to reform if he left them. Not convinced the tories would have him as i suspect he has made a lot of enemies there but on the other hand they do like a winner.

There are some people suggesting the convict Yaxley-Lennon as a replacement.

I guess Reform's chances of winning power in 2029 have just tanked (not that I think they'd have won anyway). I hope Fromage's invite to the inaugaration has been cancelled. Even better if his visa is revoked!
Yeah - heard him saying he would be talking to Musk at the inauguration 😆

It’s all a bit pyrrhic though, given that the reason for the tweet is because Musk is going increasingly 4-chan incel 15 year-old from circa 2016 and has thrown all his perma-online weight behind Steven Yaxley-Lennon aka Tommy Robinson instead. So that’s AFD for Germany and EDL for the Uk. Yay! More of this! Not.

Anyway, Reform is a private company that is more than 50% owned by Farage. So he ain’t going anywhere

ha ha ha - he just totally shat on Farage without even thinking - capricous bell end that he is. Presumably listening to some far right fruit cake tommy botherers rather than what makes most sense poltically. Musk putting his money behind farage could have been really bad news - and made the prospect of ReFuk in govenment a serious possibility. Now he will have turned half the british gammonshere against him.

With his criminal and financial history SYL wouldn't be eligible to be an MP.

Reform is aregistered Company Farage has over 50% of the shares
The criminal bit wouldn't be aan issue once he's out of prison (it's only if they are currently in prison for 12months or more, not when they've been released). Not sure about the financial though.

I hope Farage has already spent some of the money he thought was coming his way
I bet he can see that 80 million quid slipping away by the minute.

Is Aaron Banks still on the scene? We never hear about him these days but he was another one who tried to use his money to influence politics.
