They have different purposes and tones of contentWhy are there so many of these platforms?
People must waste much time checking them all.
Imagine. They have different purposes and tones of content
nothing much im sureI have no idea what is happening locally or within the wider family or circle of friends. It's very pleasant.
Imagine.
You atttend a discussion group. You receive emails from the group informing you of its meetings. There is a Facebook page for the group too, but you do not use Facebook. You turn up for one of the meetings, one afternoon, and there is nobody there. You email the organiser to complain. The organiser tells you that the cancellation was announced on a platform you had barely heard of, let alone have an account on. Why do people do things like this?
It does, maybe you disabled it in notifications.Signal doesnt do notifications so I never know when someone has messaged me. Maybe thats part of the appeal
nothing much im sure
when I went to see Patti Smith, the ticket said 8pm doors. They changed it to 7pm and only announced it on a local forum, not even their own (admittedly, ill-used) forum, Fb page or email list. I missed the first hour of her, the fuckers.Has this ever actually happened? Why wouldn't they also email news of the cancellation?
Perhaps they're 'telling' you something.Has this ever actually happened? Why wouldn't they also email news of the cancellation?
This happened to me, and I have no idea why they did not email news of the cancellation.Has this ever actually happened? Why wouldn't they also email news of the cancellation?
Bloody Bash Street KidsSky's got a story today about WhatsApp groups where children share pics of the wildlife they kill with their catapults. Bit of torture too.

We'll have to wait until Monday to see how "tense" the sit down was between tech entrepreneur Elon Musk and former CNN host Don Lemon—when the latter posts the video interview of Musk on YouTube, while it will also be available as a podcast. However, what is already known is that X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, pulled its partnership deal with Lemon after Musk sat down for the interview.
On Wednesday, Musk's social network platform announced via a tweet, "X is a platform that champions free speech, and we’re proud to provide an open environment for diverse voices and perspectives. The Don Lemon Show is welcome to publish its content on X, without censorship, as we believe in providing a platform for creators to scale their work and connect with new communities. However, like any enterprise, we reserve the right to make decisions about our business partnerships, and after careful consideration, X decided not to enter into a commercial partnership with the show."
Except you should be hoping it explodes on launch. We need to leave space alone. We’ve proved we can’t even be trusted with our own planet. He's a complete shithead but the Starship is the most exciting thing to happen in space travel for decades.
So it's a bit like cheering on your football team when it's owned by a horrible consortium.
Couldn't disagree more. The only reason you're alive is because of science and people pushing boundaries and exploring the unknown.Except you should be hoping it explodes on launch. We need to leave space alone. We’ve proved we can’t even be trusted with our own planet.
Yes, similar with his cars, the more and better electric cara the better etc. but then I suspect that musk has almost nothing to do with any of the things he produces anyway, preoccupied instead by his need to win twitter, etc., He's a complete shithead but the Starship is the most exciting thing to happen in space travel for decades.

Not really.more and better electric cara the better
I understand the scientific imperative to explore and discover, but it’s very concerning that the likes of Musk are driving these enterprises, as their only motives are profit and exploitation.Couldn't disagree more. The only reason you're alive is because of science and people pushing boundaries and exploring the unknown.

I wouldn't be quite so certain about the red planet, just yet.there aren't even any ecosystems on places like the Moon and Mars that we could impact
I thought it was because my parents succumbed to one of the most primeval and basic instincts of the animal kingdom. Spose they did push certain boundaries mind.Couldn't disagree more. The only reason you're alive is because of science and people pushing boundaries and exploring the unknown.
