Then there's this. Which appears to be a Black Mirror episode which didn't make the cut, if it wasn't real.
In short. Person buys a Tesla, but due to accounting error on Telsa's part gets locked out of said car. Tesla then reposesses the car by getting it drive itself to a location of their choosing.
It’s not true, in that nowhere in the text does it say that the car drove itself. It says that it was picked up by a tow company. That can't be true. It's illegal for a car to "drive itself" without a human behind the wheel.
Ah OK, that makes more sense. It’s not true, in that nowhere in the text does it say that the car drove itself. It says that it was picked up by a tow company.
The rest of the summary is accurate, though. Tesla fucked up their payment processing and responded to it by stealing the bloke’s car.
Fighting the good fight. These papers should just keep calling it twitter tbh, like I do with opal fruits and marathon
I think the last one. Look at his history:Think from the block and mugshot/ID specifications that we have to conclude that Musk is trying, for whatever personal/financial or political reasons to conclusively destroy the platform. Could speculate that this is about the coming US elections and /or the intensification of the climate/economic/social mega crisis… Or just another petulant man-child taking pleasure in smashing up his toys, “because he can”…
Competent and often highly innovative Engineers | Musk |
Telsa: Cars |

SpaceX: Falcon Rockets | Starship |
Robotic: No-one | Humans in Spandex and an attempt that makes Johnny 5 look advanced. |
Twitter: RUN AWAY | Ohh shiny, Look at me me me. I own Free Speech and I owned the Libs |
What fresh hell

I always stick up for men who give £20k for some spending money to woman hating alleged pimpsMaybe instead, do some research on Musk and why he may not appeal to posters here.
Using Twitter now is this.I always stick up for men who give £20k for some spending money to woman hating alleged pimps
Yep. This is a main objection, but another ojbection for me, and that of many platforms, is how addictive they are. The affect on attention. This one life, and all that, staring deep into a screen for hours and hours., year after year. I think it was Kebbes who pointed something out that stuck with me - you can have capitalism that has a certain pay off...take a high street, okay the model is capitalistic, but at least it brings people together into an area. At least people can use it to encouter other people. You go out, you see the world. You begin to feel part of a community. You could argue that twitter does this, but does it really - on a flesh and bone, memorable level? So the ruthless capitalistic model of twitter, and the like, i am not sure what it is providing back whilst a select few make billions off of it. Seems a business model of Take, whilst giving back cat memes and arguments with racists from dartford. I am being simplistic, but I do like what Kebbes was saying about the kind of secondary value of some models of capitalism, if that is what we burdened to live under, can grant. What value twitter is what what all users should ask themselves as teh hours it preoccupies ticks away. I don't judge, I know people who love it and more power to them. It;s just my own take.Using Twitter now is this.

And the worst part of grifting like this though is the monetary incentive to double down, to provoke further, money is so powerful, far more powerful than changing ones mind. It's an ethical problem that social media companies haven't got to grips with or don't care about.View attachment 388177Nick Martin (@nickmartin@masto.ai)

Has it gone viral on there? Or just something you've noticed? Hope it's the former. As many people as possible need to see he is paying the vilest and most lethal antisemitism.View attachment 388177Nick Martin (@nickmartin@masto.ai)

And to be fair to the S*n, which is really not something I like doing, at least if you post a link to them it's likely to work and allow people to click through, whereas Musk keeps breaking his own site and/or making it impossible for non-account holders to view.Could start with no more links to the site.
Might be difficult, but not impossible.
Very few linking to the Heil or the S*n these days.
I found out about it through someone posting about it on Mastodon (posted a link but urban doesn't seem to have Mastodon post embedding so it's not as visible).Has it gone viral on there? Elon Musk, the owner of the app formerly known as Twitter, has said the social media site “may fail”, after a glitch caused pictures posted before December 2014 to be deleted.
