I reckon a market will exist for those wanting to get a second shot. Expect this to get worse.

Yup, I got the email shown in the first link in your post. Very convincing looking and on my phone it looked to have come from a legitimate NHS address.

My Mum (72 and clinically vulnerable) got the call yesterday to book her appointment to attend to get it but can't because she's currently bed bound. She'll have to wait for the district nurse to come and give it to her but I'm relieved to know it's in sight as she has to have carers in several times a day at present which is risky in itself.

Had first Pfizer dose yesterday, no ill effects so far. Can't feel my DNA mutating or any barcode tattoos breaking out and the command-and-control microchip's not itchy at all. (Seriously: nothing worse than a slightly swollen arm, was expecting I might break out in fever or lethargy but absolutely nothing so far.)

Any improvement in your 5G signal?

My folks are feeling a bit crappy after shot yesterday, but hopefully will pass soon. Might knock my mum out for a little bit, as she has ME/CFS so anything like this will tend to get to her a bit more.
Please keep us updated on your mum, my gf has ME and is worried about her upcoming jab. Did your parents have Pfizer or AZ?

The aged prunes (80 and 78) got theirs yesterday, with 2nd dose booked in appt. for 11th April. No side effects so far. They’re very excited (but very sensible, won’t be changing shielding behaviour)

72 hours later and they both report being fine, sore arms for the first 36 hours or so, nothing else, all good now. Pfizer. Just for the collective knowledge bank.

I just kind of assumed it was Pfizer - as it happens, have just asked her for update on how they're doing today. ILs had theirs today, will be interested to hear if any reaction because they actually had COVID about a month ago, so I'd kind of assume not?

Daughter (unexpectedly) had her Pfizer Covid jab at her medical appointment yesterday. She reported a dead arm but no further effects. She will be expedited for her follow-up jab in 3 weeks time, rather than 3 months, due to possible interference with her chemo treatments. Hospital advised that due to 'availability' issues, she may have to attend at 24 hrs notice. Strange feeling of being 'almost there' after a year of underlying anxiety and tension..

The fella's only just feeling properly better now. Had the shits on top of feverishness, aching and sore throat. Still not 100% tbh and he normally has the constitution of a tank.

My sister in law is doing a physio degree and is about to start doing NHS placements. She's getting her first vaccine tomorrow. So far the only people I know who've had it have been front line NHS/care home workers.
See above, had mine because I'm high risk.

Was jabbed about 09.00. by 17.00 was starting to feel rough, by 18.00 and went to bed and stayed there for 24 hours with flu like symptoms. Sweaty, shivvery, feaveriah, headaches, bone and joint aches, weak, tired. For much of next day have felt a bit tired and headachy but much better now.

Glad he's feeling a bit better, soj. One of our consultant surgeons at work was saying he had similar - swore blind he got Covid afterwards. Told him I had flu symptoms after a jab a few years ago and he recognised that. I just got a sore arm and some fatigue with my own Covid jab (Pfizer). Hope you get yours soon.

Which vaccine did you have hash tag?

Mrs Shoes had her Oxford one last week. She felt rough for 24 hours, sore arm for two days and is now fine.
She doesn't normally get an adverse reaction to her annual flu vaccination, but I often do. When it's my turn, I'm going to try and have my vaccination on a Sunday to Thursday so if I'm feeling shit the next day, it's a work day

Cheers Ron Merlin - yeh, been a bit worrying tbh, cos he's normally never ill at all. His mum, who's 82, had no side effects whatsoever!

I'm not sure if I want a significant reaction or not.
I had a flu jab in November 2019 and I just had a bruised feeling for a few days - that was so far as I know killed virus grown in an egg ...
As I said elsewhere, my biggest worry would be that the Pfizer nano-blobs wouldn't make it anywhere useful and therefore I would be reassured by a second dose... whereas the Astral-Zeneca uses an actual live virus of another kind so I would expect to get significant symptoms...

My sister, who is 60 with COPD, reports waking up feeling dreadful, massive headache, fatigue. AZ vaccine yesterday. She's spending the day in bed. "Wouldn't want to feel like this for long".

I still have zero side effects from Pfizer. Apart from a bloody sore arm, but that's nothing.
