Have you had your [s]microchip[/s] vaccine yet?

In the company of a fellow scot yesterday I found myself saying jab for the first time in a while!

My brothers widow has had it. She is a health worker with many elderly patients and has a young daughter so this pleases me.

As at 27th my parents hadnt had notification of getting theirs and my brother who works in a hospital lab occasionally doing covid tests hadnt had one.

Potentially got a choice. I can get one in the country I’m working in for free at a walk up clinic but will fall out of the booster dates, there is a Chinese one being offered as well or back home and take my chances in the U.K. queue (I’m registered as vulnerable)

fyck knows what to do

Not had mine but Middle Q and Son Q's girlfriend who work at the same hospital have had theirs just before Xmas. A memo was apparently circulated that just said turn up throughout the day and you will get vaccinated. Girlfriend Q says that on the one on her ward some wit had crossed out vaccinated and wrote microchipped.
I'm looking forward to mine, being able to get 5G without having to buy a new phone will be nice.

I am classed as critically extremely vulnerable and a key worker but not expecting it until Spring time :(
My elderly ma in law in Derby is booked in for her first one next week and I spoke to a client who had
her first jab at St Georges Tooting (SW London) last week.

On the r4 this morning some so called expert was saying just get the first done, the second is not critical.
Further reports from doctors today saying get both done as soon as, being elderly, they will probably forget
to go to the second or will get confused of cancelled and rebooked appointments!

is a 2nd jab appointment made on the 23rd December (for 13th January) booked in before the 4th of January going to take place or not?

Who fucking knows with these clown-car cunts.

SiL had her first jab on or before the 15th December 2020, so that puts jab two right on the 4th / 5th January 2021.

She's an NHS radiographer (with training responsibilities and some frontline work) and has a few health issues, so I hope that she's got in under that idiotic policy change.
[However, I think she's based at the "green" hospital that's doing the Pfizer jabs ...]
