Has King Charles III died?

How many Charlie notes are there? Will it be worth hanging on to one?
I’ve only come across a few on a single occasion: and that was only because a customer insisted on paying for a four-figure purchase in cash- not that he got any extra discount for it.

Come to think of it, I can’t remember the last time I carried cash in my wallet. Easily a year if not longer.

Same here. I carry £15 in my card case and another £15 in my running wallet, but it never gets spent. I usually end up handing it to my daughter to pay for a college book.
I sometimes get paid for doing music gigs in cash (but not that often). I stuff it in a book on my shelf thinking I'll use it when I need it instead of going to a cash machine. . . . But it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. There is a fair few hundred quid in there now.
I think I have one Charles £20 note.
I can't remember what I used to use money for. Maybe the pub?

Poor king Charles must be fuming. Waited so long that money isn't even thing and he's going to be dead soon.

I have a couple of Charlie £20s in my "cash mrs mx doesn't know about so I can spend on drugs" stash.

Should I wait till he drops dead so I can sell them for more than £20?

Or maybe not if this 50p is owt to go by!
Collectors are insane!
I have one of them in an uncirculated set bought for me last year as an xmas pressie

I've never done that before, but I liked the nature tails sides.

Oh, fuck off William! Who really wants to see our Royalty in a photo like this? Just get Hugh Grant in to tell him to fuck off.

If he can give it to some innocent little girl like this, he should have some balls and give it straight to Trump too

Don't get the context of that, but would imagine that the mission of your beloved royalty is to placate and butter up the ego of a president who could initiate a tariff war (or worse) against your country?

I think i've only seen 1 "charlie" note so far and not seen any coins but i mostly pay by card so rarely use cash (although there is another thread for that topic).
