Galloway's Workers' Party of Britain

Someone needs to stand up for Batley and Spen residents who are fed up with the SNP, I suppose.

Monetising narcissistic personality disorder. Still, Batley wasn't the first place I had in mind as to where the magic carpetbag would end up next.

"Muuuuuuummm, Dad's standing in an election again...."

“Gays and bisexuals on the Archers!” Fumes outraged of Carpet-Bag.

Apart from anything else, is he getting the Archers mixed up with Gardener's Question Time? I mean, I don't listen to the thing myself, but I would have thought that any given episode would be more likely to contain general soap opera goings on than agricultural tips, what with it being a soap opera and not actually a farming advice program?

Anyway, this week I learned that there's a Canadian heavy metal band called Unleash the Archers, which presumably sounds a bit cooler and more metal in Canada than it does here?

Imagine joining the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist), all full of revolutionary vigour and Marxist-Leninist enthusiasm, and then somehow ending up as a footsoldier for a man who thinks the Archers is too upsettingly progressive.

Given Adam and Ian got married in 2006 (and were presumably together for some time before that), I suspect Galloway may not be that much of an Archers fan. As well as being a bigoted twat obviously.

(I did have to look that up, not being mad keen on The Archers myself. Honest.)
Tom was trashing GMO’s back in the last millennium. Even worse Mark joined the SDP in the eighties!

They’re clearly referring to the magnificent film-making partnership of Powell & Pressburger.

It seems galloway has made a film about the death of david kelly and is touring it with a q and a session. I know this cos an advert for it came up on my facebook and hes touting it at a venue 200 yards from my house.

In London, at least, people didn't face the blitz by walking about in it but by going to the underground stations. The Communist Party was at the heart of the campaign to open and utilise the stations as a place of safety , initially using direct action to achieve this.
I don’t think you understand. His hat might have blown off!
