Halima Khan was given star status in the WP and was its candidate for Stratford and Bow in the 2024 elections.. She wrote about the above:
"I actually didn’t, he blocked me on the day Assad fell cos I was happy for the Syrian people."
An Islamist replied, “I don’t think posting this on twitter was the best way to handle it sister. This is workers party’s internal matter. I know there’s a lot of internal disagreement going on regarding Syria. That’s something that should be sorted out internally.”

“I resigned from the Workers Party because of the disgusting treatment of Women within it. And because Galloway deliberately refused to do anything about that. Having just witnessed his dangerous comments on MOATS this evening seemingly naming you as being an ISIS supporter it is clear he is unfit to lead any political party.”
