Was a penalty imo as well, and the free kick leading to the first goal was also correct, if you look closely the french player was just caught.
Croatia played well, but could not handle the pace of some of the french players in parts of the game.
They were also very quite after the game unlike the other night.
So no tears from me after their loss on that, and no new name on the Trophy.
All in all a very very good Tournament.

Can't agree abot the free kick. The initial camera angle tricked me but 2 of the replay angles show a blatant dive before any contact is made.
It's actually a move that few players pull off well. I.e: diving, yet being able te get some form of credible contact with the foot of the tackling player

I'm sure it occurred to everyone, but I just joined the thoughts together: to get to the final, France beat Argentina, Uruguay and Belgium. Even if Argentina weren't full strength and Uruguay were missing Cavani, that's a very credible group of teams.

Reads more like they died coincidentally with the riots, rather than as a result of them, as the Mirror headline implies.

As for the riots themselves, remember that the French police are not nice people, and I would be surprised if they were without blame for these shenanigans.
