Blimey... I found an internet cafe in the village I was in near the Indian border, v slow but used it on Friday night to fuck around with a few formations. Left it at an v tentative, "let's see how things stand at the end of the transfer window" team with 4m in the bank. On Saturday I had an hour after work to change it. Disaster - the cafe is owned by 7th Day Adventists and it's fucking closed. Panic. Found another place with a computer... waited 20 minutes for the FPL site to load... another 10 minutes for the Transfer page... my flight is leaving in 30 minutes. Forget it. Try from my phone on the hoof. Got a connection in Mandalay, 16.57 UK time... plane is taking off and I'm trying to confirm the transfers, still got the formation to do but... connection dies. Ah.

You can't drop him for the villa game as it's still part of this game week. His next game is against utd then a blank week. I've sold him cos I think he'll drop in value and just can't guarantee enough game time at the mo.

That's a possible danger when he's so expensive - too many makeweights in the rest of your team. I'm trying without him this season. Lots of interesting alternatives, tho it's probably doomed to failure.

I had the exact same problem but with Android. It's been noticeably absent from their web pages - methinks something went a bit wrong

It's all about the captaincy for RVP. You should be giving him the armband pretty much each week, no question. However, I was hoping he'd start off with a whimper, for folk to drop him during the difficult early fixtures, for his price to fall, then I'd nab him. Plan aint coming together yet...
