Fantasy Football League 2013-14

I decided I might as well use the wild card in my final push for mid table obscurity.

Players I ditched have suddenly come back into form. Players I bought have suddenly forgotten how to football.

And I was not expecting some of today's results...

You think that's bad - i won a H2H league or so i thought (12 points clear 3 games to go) and now i'm in some ghastly top four semi final after i've done -12pts to move up the other leagues as this one was safe. I now have NOTHING. I repeat NOTHING.

Pretty low average score from yesterday's games.
Usual suspects not performing to the extent they have been.

I should have joined this league - didn't know about it. Next year I will. Not that I'm any good - I have a habit of needing to use my wildcards in the first few weeks

a stronger second half, thanks mostly to Suarez has seen me in the Top 50 again - which I regard as a successful season

Well, that came as a surprise to me to find that a massive, unassailable-looking margin at the top had reduced to a few points, with one game to go.
So I found myself top for the first time, just as the season ended. Deep joy! The only player I had throughout was Palace's Ward, who was my cheap, wild guess, making up the numbers player back in August. Only way is down now, I suppose.

I've avoided the thread as I've had an abysmal season which was never going to turn around....but well done HHB!!

I came 5th in the Urban classic league, same as Everton. So that's Europa Cup for me then.
