FA Cup 2019-20

Isn't there a rule that you can't double punish a team with awarding a penalty and red?

Luiz midweek and now Fulham too :hmm:

A big game away at a top club soda to really help your team mates, what to do, get yourself sent off after 7 minutes, the twat...

PS I have to work with a Fulham supporter shortly. I suspect two of her boys are at the game. The atmosphere will be foul.

Keown was singing Matip and Lovren's praises in the first half, saying they were the best back-up CBs in the league. Klopp looked apoplectic in the second half.

Micah Richards revisiting his 17 year-old self's interview was quite amusing.

I thought the situation was that there is a winter break for the players and the FA have scheduled this game during the break?

Oh yes Oxford!

If Magic of the Cup means anything at all, that match had it IMO!
Here's what I posted over on the "Three positives from your day" thread over on H & S forum :

1. Best game for very many years that I've seen Oxford play :) (and on the BBC, too!) while also losing :( -- Maxima had that bit of extra genius class for Newcastle right at the end of extra time. So we're out of the cup now, but what a match!! :). We REALLY pushed them, kept attacking, and both our goals to come back to 2-2 (second one 94th minute!! :D) were superb ....
2. and 3. See 1. :p :D

:)

And in League One ("concentrate on the ... " etc etc :p ) on Saturday 7th March, I'll be seeing Oxford up in Shrewsbury, who seem a bit useless from tonight's performanace ;) (with a night's stay and all Shrewsbury's delightful pubs and beer :) :D) ).
Then also at home to Portsmouth on Saturday 28th March. We're eighth in L1 right now, with at least one game in hand, and ATM with the goalscoring form to make play offs -- fingers crossed! :)

Win or lose on the

You'll batter us, almost certainly. Bar the cup we've been useless since before Xmas.

The first time the 5th round has contained Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur since the moon landing :)

Son's? Soft penalty imo . Seen similar situations where the verdict has been not enough contact for one but I suppose contact is contact and he was in full pelt. Very surprised it didnt go to VAR tbh.
Yeah. It was 50/50 imo.

Son was already going down before the contact but it looked like a penalty to me at first viewing.
