FA Cup 2019-20

a week tomorrow, hopefully Watford will be knackered having played on Tuesday
Here's hoping that the pitch is playable. With the amount of rain recently and the already waterlogged pitch it could be a problem even for this weekends game against Ipswich to go ahead.

I think Coventry fans should be really cheeky, sat in Blues home end for the 4th round tie, and break into a rendition of Keep Right On :D

I woke up this evening listening to Man U game but discovered Carlisle V. Cardiff on 5live sport extra. What a cracking game. :)

Another game to add to our record of beating Premiership teams. It's been a long time since we have had a crowd like that inside Prenton Park. The team came out blazing from the off which is a definite change to some of our league matches and the original tie at Vicarage Road. Just a little matter of Man Utd on Sunday now.

Our first ever game against the grown up Mancs at Prenton Park. We beat their U23's last year in the Stupid Trophy, but I suspect OGS will play at least a few of the big boys on Sunday. They won't like the state of our pitch though :D

Pleased that it is live on the box; I'll be able to catch the first half at least before heading to work
Gonna be a tough match I reckons.

Benrahma is out (his dad died) which is a shame, hope he plays the other 2 of our BMW  front 3 of Benrahma, Mbeumo and Watkins, + hopefully Jansson and Jensen are fit.

We're doing OK in the league and with the top 2 faltering in recent weeks there's a real chance of at least a play off place this year, so Frank may play a weakened team, as will Rogers probably.

Should be a good day.

Brentford were poor IN first half and much better in second. Financially, it sounds like they are doing OK.
is any new ground more interesting than the previous one? Wembley, Arsenal, Tottenham, Millwall, West Ham, Derby......

Really looking forward to tomorrows games

Liverpool will play some young/squad players who will be playing to impress the boss. I expect they will beat Shrewsbury but hope it is a good game.

Would love to see (the magic of the cup) Tranmere give Man Utd a good game tomorrow too. Maybe scrape a draw and get some decent gate money if not progressing.

Can't see the Fearless Fulham getting anything off Citeh but you never know, they beat Juventus 4-1 once upon a time.

Brentford were excellent, especially after Leicester finished their initial pressing.

From the brief look at it that we got, their new ground doesn't look as interesting as Griffin Park.
Considering we only started with 5 first team regulars they done themselves proud. Looked like we were gonna be battered early doors but in the end felt we deserved a draw.

Cracking atmosphere, Griffin Park is pretty special. My wife has never been but wants to go to a game before the season is out, I’m thinking v West Brom on Paddy’s Night

Cancel it, whatever it is, just cancel it. last match, last chance...will be a cracking atmosphere.
Nah man, as a March 17th venue the New Inn (one of the 4 pubs on the corners of Griffin) is a proper Celtic FC pub and always good on Paddy’s Day regardless - on the night we pip West Brom to 2nd in the Championship :D it’ll be extra special. I’m delighted she wants to go TBF, I’ve been asking her for 25 years.

Apols for the non FA cup Bees derail here tho Fam.
