FA Cup 2019-20

That was one of the better Cup finals of recent years, with the red card being the main spoiler.

A lot was said about whether Aubameyang would stay or go, but who would be willing to invest what Arsenal would charge for a 31 year old?

Its no different. Utd and Liverpool built on big fan bases and successful sides. Chelsea were never far behind. Theres a documentary somewhere about football hooliganism where a police chief declares that Chelsea were up there with Man U and Liverpool on numbers attending away matches in the good old days. We have always been a massive club in England, it just took Roman and Co to take it to the next level.
Look at Wolves. Very similar to us, good fanbase but in the doldrums. Money people get involved (Fosun) and they're making a mark. Does anyone say anything negative? Nah, are they called Wolvski or Wolevesugal, nah. Hypocrites, all of you. Especially Gooners, tonight.

To be fair i think the same about wolves too. Manufactured team. Rich man's plaything.

I genuinely think we desrbed that FA cup win.
Ok, we go the rub o0f the green with the ref decision, but after the first drinks (side note; what a civilsed idea we've imported from cricket!) we were totally the better team, in all areas of the game, for the rest of the game.
Chavs were unlucky with injuries - but how often has that happened with Arsenal, down the years?

Thought Arsenal were overall the better team tbf but not sure that would have been the case without the injuries especially to Pulisic who caused wholescale panic to Arsenals defence and some incredibly fortunate refereering from Anthony Taylor. I'll pass on the penalty but Mounts booking, the sending off and the keepers handball were dubious to say the least. The Portuguese asked me if the referee liked Arsenal but I had to explain that his family are in fact all Man Utd supporters. . Aubameyang's second goal was a beaut though.

We've got a CL tie still to play against Bayern but what ever vain hope I had is firmly back on terra firma as we can add two pulled hamstrings , Pedros shoulder injury to Kante and Gilmour's long term injuries. We'll have to send more kids out , these new signings and next season can't come quick enough for a very thin squad.

bollocks about martinez's handball, even the dreaded VAR confirmed that his fingers saved it in the box. As Arsenal fans we've had many times to moan about VAR but it's always this weird thing where other teams complaining is somehow totally fine.

Sorry I must have missed the decision to take it to VAR

you can't blame the fella when the shed teds finished 14th in the 93-94 season. seen as they love to brag about how the league started in 92 with the advent of the prem and sky sports fc...

On Portuguese TV the replay from behind looked like Luiz rabbit punching Giroud around the middle of the lower back kidney area.
i once saw shane westley for wolves punch the oppo striker in the kidney when he jumped for the ball at a corner. made no attempt to jump for the ball, just made sure he was behind the player and out of sight of the ref and lino. i feel blessed to have witnessed it. beautiful football.

Dont judge everyone on your own standards.

hardly. it's the standard of many glory hunting Chelsea fans post-2003. I don't particularly have a problem with glory hunting if that's what people want to do, just be honest about it. 'no no you haven't won 13 league titles' except we have.

It was interesting that Ashley Cole seemed to vehemently back Chelsea. He spent longer there, and won more trophies in total, but you'd think you'd have an affinity for the club where you made your name, even if they nearly made you crash your car.

Cleary hasn't forgiven us for 'only offering him £50k/week'....
