FA Cup 2019-20

To a certain extent, should not the competition that is the FA cup be on a level playing field, same rules and terms for all. So why are Palace using VAR whilst others don't have it?

It's being used at this season's Premiership grounds only, I think because of the leagues only the Prem is implementing it thus far. I agree with you though, either everywhere or nowhere.

Tottenham were shite, Boro OK, Liverpool scarily good, Everton caught in the headlights, Gills can be proud and West Ham relieved.

Whenever I see Priestfield on the telly, from the side where the main cameras are, it always reminds me of the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa, with those quadrilateral columns in the corners.

Var should be used at all grounds of not used at all. One competition, one rule.
I have very fond memories of Priestfield, particularly when Wednesday played there in an evening match many years ago.

and then tonight....

FA Cup 4th round draw:

Watford/Tranmere vs. Wolves/Man Utd
Hull vs. Chelsea
Southampton vs. Middlesbrough/Spurs
QPR vs. Sheff Wed
Bournemouth vs. Arsenal
Northampton vs. Derby
Brentford vs. Leicester
Millwall vs. Sheff Utd
Reading/Blackpool vs. Cardiff/Carlisle
West Ham vs. West Brom
Burnley vs. Norwich
Bristol Rovers/Coventry vs. Birmingham
Man City vs. Fulham
Rochdale/Newcastle vs. Oxford
Portsmouth vs. Barnsley
Bristol City/Shrewsbury vs. Liverpool

I see my team Birmingham City have drawn either Bristol Rovers or Cov in the next round, which should be interesting if Cov get through, because they play their home games... at St Andrews! So potentially we will be the away fans at our own ground. And if there's a replay, Cov will be the away fans at their own ground as well. Weird! Edit - on a more serious note, could be a 'mare for West Mids Police.

Happy for Shrewsbury. City played a strong team, but we have been shit for ages.

Thought Liverpool might incentivise you guys to blow us away to be honest! But you made a crucial mistake with the team selection.

One of your lads tonight has lost 3 successive cup ties to us, do you know who it is?

Ha. Good little Trivia fact. That was a total guess. :)

Did you go tonight? That's what the cups all about! Enjoy Liverpool.

Nah, I live in Sheffield so I mostly do away games. Sensibly decided to go to Doncaster last week instead and watched us lose 2-0 to a shit team with no fans. ;)

I'm excited about Liverpool but actually wanted Sheffield United! Think I'll head back though if I can get a ticket.
