FA Cup 2019-20

I gather that is 4 straight losses for Spurs and they look like they are having a worse season than last season. Mourinho out?

Not yet. They were having a worse season than last season before he got there to be fair.

He was a strange, strange appointment though.

Strange appointment for Spurs but not for him. He is back where he wants to be, in the cash in town ;)

I doubt Levy pays his as much as he got from Woodward or Abramovich in his most recent roles. I have a certain admiration for him and Ancelotti, taking on "sleeping giants", despite their respective managerial records.

Don't see the comparison between him and Ancelotti to be fair!

They've both been very successful in Spain, Italy and England, winning the Champions League with two different teams, and have hitherto been in charge of clubs among the biggest spending in their respective leagues. Neither Spurs nor Everton are in that bracket, even if they are easily in the top half of highest resourced PL clubs, so it's a slight change from their past experiences.

Stylistically, I agree, they're very different.

I haven't watched extra time yet, as my stomach called (5:30pm kick-offs are shite). However, Norwich looked very good for a team who are probably going down. Their two full backs, Aarons and Lewis, will I'm sure get picked up by teams, because they were excellent. Cantwell too, although he's a Norfolk lad.

Benny Godfrey is also a talent and I'm amazed Tim Krul isn't at a better club. They're very likeable Norwich just massively inconsistent.

Yes fair play to Norwich , without the pressure of the league they were a different team. With the parachute payments they might be able to keep hold if some of this talent or invest sales in like for like . Leicester have been very good on the latter .

City are good to watch imo , great movement , possession always teasing out the final ball after moving the defence .
semi finals will be the fourth time we’ve played Man Utd this season , it’s 3-0 to them so far . Can’t see the point of the teams playing at Wembley at the moment tbh .

I quite fancy a bet on Luiz to get sent off and Arsenal to win the Cup (not necessarily in 90 minutes). That would be a lovely owd end to the season, although sad for Wolves.

Well as both teams have dodgy defences I hope it will be a goal fest. I am being optimistic & going for a 4-2 to Arsenal. didn't think I would give much of one about this game but am getting excited now.

Up the fucking Arse! :D
