A change of plan here. I have been harvesting veg today so:
Warm roast chicken with steamed garden peas. Potato salad with chives and shallot. Beetroot and lettuce salad with cucumber flowers.
Chek Budvar and a bottle of Prosecco that won’t get opened ‘till England score.

Had a bit of a chaotic matchday experience which may or may not have involved me accidentally booking a pub table for next Sunday and ending up wandering the streets till we ended up "watching" it, or as much of it as we could see, from outside a pub beer garden. So my dinner and drinking ended up being a Spar cheese and onion slice, a Co-Op vegetable pasty and selection of mini vegan pies, and a bag of Doritos, washed down with some cans of Strongbow and a bottle of Estrella. Most of the food seemed like it might be quite nice if hot, but was a bit fucking rough when cold.

In retrospect, I really regret that I failed to either force that last cold vegan mini pie down my throat or just throw it away, did a lot of picking bits of pie out of my bag this morning.
