EU elections: a questionaire thingy to help discern your nearest party.

Green - 71% match
BNP - 67% match
Tory - 43%
UKIP 43%
LD 40%
Labour 17%

edit: and if i look at the european parties i get 98.2% for Partido Comunista dos Trabalhadores Portugueses (Communist Workers Party of Portugal) & also 98% for Folkebevægelsen mod EU (People's Movement against the EU), and 88% for Suomen Työväenpuolue (Workers Party of Finland)

Green - 71.4%
Unspeakable - 50%
Tory - 40%
LD- 38%
Lab - 20%
UKIP - 20%

These things are so complex. I cant understand why my nazi match is so relatively high and my UKIP one so low.
Must be cos Im more to the left on the economic side. I'm certainly quite Euro-skeptic but simply dont care about much about migration, which is the nazis main platform. There are questions relating to authoritarianism but it doesnt bear out when someone as anti-authoritarian as me comes up with fascists as a number 2 match.

They have replaced the Political Compass "Authority/Liberty" axis with pro/anti integration, which is understandable in the context but creates obvious problems.

European parties, i got:

Izquierdia Unida - 84%
Finnish/swedish "left alliance" - dunno if thatwas the same as your thing butchers? 84.7
Sinn Fein 83.9

Green - 81.5
Lib-Dem - 71.3
BNP 56.6
Con - 54.7
Lab 53.4
UKIP 27.1

Tho a 'profile' that puts labour to the right of the BNP on socioeconomic issues has to be a tad suspect. I knw Labvour are bad, more right-wing than the tories arguably, but the BNP???

That's feckin hilarious. This is me:

Green 79,5%

Liberal Democrats 51,8%

British National Party 48,6%

Conservative Party 40,8%

Labour Party 27,5%

UK Independence Party 20,0%

:D

Em. No.

Well they call for an economy based on decentralised worker co-ops and so on - so just going by the manifestos, they could very easily be.

Another load of wank....Mine came out Greens first BNP second and Labour last......I am likely to Vote for the Greens or Labour but never the BNP or the Tories.....

aah yes, I get better results from across Europe (better meaning 'more acceptable to me' obviously)

PP (the European pirate party), PRC-PDCI (Italian commies), PVDA (Dutch Labour Party) VAS (Finnish Left Allaince) & Dei Lenk (luxembourgeoise left)

I was reading about the European Pirate Party the other day.

Do they have any serious policies apart from campaigning against copyright?

Mines a Flash thing with a political compass and stuff. Did you have a c&p job?

Anyway --

Green 83.5%
Lib Dem 81.7%
Con 60.4%
BNP 56.3%
Lab 47.9%
UKIP 33.0%

So overwhelmingly Green or Lib Dem, which is exactly what I would have expected.

two words

National SOCIALISM

;)

Have you tried comparing your spider diagram with the parties of your choice? The BNP come out at 100% for "Expanded Welfare State", which is why I suspect a lot of us are ending up with a high correlation with them.

My spider is almost entirely in the left hand side of the chart. Amusingly, it is almost the mirror image of the UKIP. It's almost identical to the Greens though.

Heh. Whoever these people are, they are evidently the parties for me:

1. Grüne Partei Schweiz 92,0%

2. I Verdi - Partito Ecologista Svizzero 92,0%

3. Les Verts - Parti écologiste Suisse 92,0%

4. Sinistra e Libertà 90,0%

The top three seem to feature the word "green" in any case.

Interesting website!

with only a couple of (seemingly) small changes for my preferences (mainly switching from strongle dis/agree to somewhat dis/agree) Labour shot up to third for me, only 50% and only just behind the libs.

you should clearly move to Swtizerland

mmm, maybe, but only if you ignore the bit about 20% odd of the country not being eligible for the 'british' entitlements tho

In and amongst my top rated commie and green parties across the EU comes a well placed soppy centre left (I think) CDU. Yes it is interesting, but not as interesting as it is flat out weird

ETA: actually CDU are centre-right aint they? bloody hell.
