Donald Trump, the road that might not lead to the White House!

Sometimes, seeing the avalanche of the media laying into Trump every day seems almost a little unfair, one-sided.

Then I remember that Trump was the driving force behind the vile Birther movement that only really ended a couple of weeks ago. The lying scumbag deserves everything they can throw at him.

You know, in some ways, the people who are even worse than Trump are the odious Republicans who at first claimed they were too principled to support him - but who later changed their tune and backed him anyway.

Now all those assholes, like Ted Cruz, are really twisting in the wind. Good place for them. They're being exposed for what they truly are.

The ones who support Clinton are just as bad, too.

:D

trump having to come out and say that he is not quitting. At the debate all hillary has to do is point at trump, look at the camera and shake her head in disbelief. Its over. The Dems will just bang on and on and on about the fact that he is clearly utterly unfit for office. Nobody outside his base will want to defend him - he's toxic.
Its will give fresh legs to the various sexual assault accusations made against him as well.

Has anyone out there doubled down on their Trumpism and promised to support him to the bitter end? Because that would be the beginning of a lovely, lovely split in the GOP.

This gem by Lionsingh from deep in the comments on a Graun article:
At least the Rolling Stones knew how to deal with Trump.

For instance, there was the time the Rolling Stones fired Trump and insisted that he leave his own building before they performed. This was back in 1989, when the Stones' Steel Wheels Tour was about to broadcast a multi-million-dollar pay-per-view event at the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. According to Michael Cohl, the tour's promoter, Trump was acting like a diva and trying to make himself the center of attention, when he had promised not to appear at the concert. In his frustration, Keith Richard pulled out a knife, slammed it on a table, and demanded that someone fire Trump, or he would do it himself and kill him. Cohl then insisted that Trump and Marla Maples leave the building, which sent Trump into a rage. Cohl has vividly described how three Trump "shtarkers" (muscle-bound goons) started to put on brass knuckles and gloves in a crystal-clear act of intimidation. But Cohl was immediately rescued by 40 roadies armed with "tire irons, hockey sticks and screwdrivers." Trump and his henchmen quickly decided that discretion was the better part of valor, and beat a hasty retreat. Cohl later described it as the night he "fired" Trump.'
Donald Trump forced to apologise as sex boast tape horrifies Republicans

(No, I didn't read all the comments, I just randomly dipped into that page.)

Plenty of folk on the internets defending him, mostly by pointing at Bill Clinton and his Sex Shame, but even those people sound a bit tired. I really hope you're right.

hang on a minute.. what's this? He hired jewish henchmen? Maybe the conspiracy is true after all, he's just a hologram designed to make sure Hilary gets the job.

Quite relevant though when he wants a good proportion of 50% of the population that actually have pussies - to vote for him!

It's not important, in fact it will probably hurt the Clinton campaign more that they leaked it. I don't think many people thought Trump was anything but a arrogant arsehole, and I'm certainly not defending him, but I hate the faux outrage, in terms of this being in any way 'offensive' Sarah Silverman talks about this issue, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUp2Dx1LkMc

The pussy comment is completely irrelevant to the election, but great it came out.

The fact that he used the word 'pussy' isn't the thing.

The important part is: "I'm a star. They let me do it."

Having a foul mouth is one thing. Thinking that one has the right to make unwanted sexual advances because of one's wealth and power, is entirely another. As he was described in some tweet, Trump is an entitled, misogynistic asshole.

That's why he isn't fit to be president. Well, that's part of the reason.

Unfortunately, the only thing worse than Trump running at this point, is Trump quitting - and Mike Pence taking over.

Pence doesn't believe in evolution, doesn't believe in gay rights.

If Pence stepped in as the nominee at the eleventh hour, the democrats wouldn't have sufficient time to show who he is to the American people.
