So hypothetical question. Trump, Clinton and Bono are in a room together. You have a gun with 2 bullets, what do you do.

30 former Republican Congressmen against Trump:

"At some point you have to put country over party," said Coleman. "I think he's dangerous. I think he is mentally and emotionally unfit to be president."

...

"(To) the people in the Republican Party who are saying you need to fall in line - don't try to persuade us. This guy has real personal problems and we don't want somebody like him in office," said former Rep. Mickey Edwards of Oklahoma.

I wonder if its been put on the backburner because its too political. Or, it could be that it just takes a while to investigate those cases.

There are certain stories that one would think would have explosive potential, that seem to get soft-pedalled. One is the allegations by a woman that Trump raped her when she was 13. And now this human trafficking story.

They didn't and don't get much coverage from the mainstream media outlets, and there's been little to no followup.

There's a lot of stories that seem important that never make the mainstream news. It happens with such regularity and predictability that I've come to the conclusion that the mainstream press is not a free press. I'm not certain if this is by design or by some other factor in play.

During Trump's bankruptcy proceedings, his own lawyers would meet with him in pairs because he lied so much, they wanted to be able to verify what he said.

Trump’s own bankruptcy lawyers say he lies so much they could only meet with him in pairs

Miller calls Trump “an expert at interpreting things. Let’s put it that way.”

“We tried to [meet in pairs] with Donald always if we could because Donald says certain things and then has a lack of memory,” he says in the deposition.

I always liked B. Boxer. She got into politics because of her opposition to the Viet. war. She's retiring & will be missed.

She is a disgusting liar.

Jeff Weaver: Barbara Boxer lied about feeling threatened

Bernie Sanders’ campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, said Tuesday he doesn’t think Barbara Boxer is telling the whole truth on what went down in Nevada.

On CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, Weaver told host John Berman that he doubted the California senator's version of events during the 2016 Nevada Democratic State Convention on May 14, because of a video that surfaced from the convention. Weaver said it shows Boxer was definitely not in fear of the crowd.

“I don't want to see Sen. Barbara Boxer walking off the stage claiming she's in fear of her life while she's contemptuously blowing kisses at Sanders supporters,” Weaver said to Berman. “No, absolutely not.”

Weaver’s comments are part of a larger conflict between the Sanders campaign and supporters of Hillary Clinton (including Boxer) about what took place at the Nevada state convention, where the distribution of some of the state's Democratic presidential delegates were determined.

Some in the Democratic Party lambasted disgruntled Sanders supporters at the convention whose actions they called chaotic and violent. The Sanders campaign offered a broad-stroke condemnation of violence but didn’t outright denounce the behavior of convention attendees, instead accusing Nevada Democrats of tilting the process toward Hillary Clinton.

Democratic National Convention party chair Deborah Wasserman Schultz criticized Sanders’ response to the event, saying that it didn’t go far enough.

The video Weaver was commenting about showed Boxer blowing kisses to the crowd at the Nevada convention that was shouting at her.

Boxer had previously told CNN that she felt threatened by Sanders supporters at the convention.

“This is serious stuff,” she said on CNN. “This is not what we need going into an election. There’s no place for this in either party. No place for this.”

When Berman asked Weaver if he thought Boxer was lying, Weaver replied, “I think if you watch the online video, it seems incongruous if somebody was in fear for their life while they're blowing kisses at that opponents. Yes, I think that’s incongruous.”

The betting odds for a Trump victory are lengthening almost by the minute. Saying that, I went to bed relatively late on Brexit night with the odds 1/10 on remain, and look how that turned out.

I see that story's a month old. I wonder why nothing has become of it?

I don't think ICE tend to move especially fast on these things, nor do they want to be seen as rushing to launch a politically motivated investigation because they got a letter from a senator.

Having a modeling agency that skirts labor laws isn't particularly explosive news by Trump standards, and it's not new news either - there have been assorted Trump Modeling Agency cases making their way through the courts for years. One was dismissed in federal court earlier this year, which may be another reason why the feds are taking their time with this case.

I think he's in a unrecoverable tailspin. Clinton may just finish him off on Sunday.
