Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Some companies to cross off your shopping list this weekend, due to them being involved in workfare:
  • Dorothy Perkins (boohoo! I was going to get a dress from there this weekend and they actually got it in for me specially!)
  • Asda
  • BHS
  • Burton
  • Evans
  • Matalan
  • Miss Selfridge
  • Outfit
  • Primark
  • Tesco
  • Topman
  • Topshop
  • Wallis
That's an economical weekend then.

I've emailed DP as half my wardrobe comes from there.

My leopard print jeans arrived today but they are so stretchy they look more like leggings so they are going straight back. It's a pity because they look sort of nice but I'm too old to be seen out in anything resembling leggings without wearing a frock over the top :(
So buy a black tunic top! Don't get the fear Shirl, I bet you'll look ace!

Isn't Warehouse part of the Arcadia group, too?

solast year, after my rent, my biggest single expenditure was at Collectif. Since I've started losing weight, this has got worse. This week was particularly bad.

In the reduced section (and, tbf, paid for with a credit note i had from December):

The red dress is much longer in real life. Lovely, though. I shall wear it to my 'celebrating losing weight / postponed birthday party' I'm going to have in April.

Then yesterday I thought i'd just pop in to the covent garden branch to try on their new jeans. Jeans were awful but i somehow came out with a coat. and a jacket. oops. They were in the sale though. Have some modelling pics:

Agreed - I fail to see how anyone who can carry off hair like yours (in a good way) can't carry off those jeans.

Or maybe try the next size up - they'd probably still fit quite closely but feel and look less like leggings.

Just got a nice pink and white striped RL shirt, a blue Camel Actif shirt, two pairs of trousers, but forgot to buy the jeans for which I went out! (Oh and had a haircut and facial)

Oh, go on then you've talked me into them :D

Long black tops, here I come :)

Thank you both x

did i post about the trickers brogues i found on the bootmarket last week?

here they are anyway. i'm wearing them now. they're quite heavy duty...

I used to wear one of those to work every day. It was warmer than you might think.
very warm. it's going to be my winter go-to coat for a while, i think.

i've managed to get a little more info on it too - a vintage militaria nerd elsewhere reckons it's a early 70s military police issue jacket.

Today I bought a gold sequined cardigan in Top Shop reduced from £55 to £10.

I'm going to pair it up with my new leopard print jeans for festivals. Aiming for a sort of Bet Lynch meets Dolly Parton look :D

Bit late with this but if anyone is going to buy from brastop (I know at least three of us recently have, grr) then use ELLE15 to get 15% off until 4th march.

I bought Elle for the soap & glory mascara, not impressed with either tbh.

Looking good Spangles...infact you are looking super-good.. & killer b I love your shopping finds but I do wonder if radio atomica rolls her eyes when you come home with another find!...:D

I will say it on here now...I AM BUYING NO CLOTHING OR MAKE-UP ETC GUBBINS IN MARCH....I really really need to keep spending to essential items only. So I'm buying a backpack and some perfume today (essentials) xxx

Finally going to get round to getting that bra sent off for swapsies today. Was too busy last week and too mullered yesterday to go anywhere but back to bed.

Still, at least I should get it before the weekend. And yes I do need a fully working bra for all the hard dancing I'm doing at weekends. It takes it's toll on the elastic summat chronic. Also should have my H&M dress for the weekend too, provided the Mr remembers to bring it up. Sadly I don't think I'll be posting much in this thread in the coming weeks. :(
