an american police issue cold weather jacket with detachable fur collar, probably 70s vintage. hope this freeze carries on a while longer so i can get some wear out of it...

Today I went to the H&M sale and brought a jacket for under a tenner so compellingly, mindblowingly terrible I'm actually still smiling to think about it. It's a sort of quilted puffa jacket with a pattern on it that looks like the inside of the eyelids of tripping anime ravers in the year 2500.

There are literally no circumstances in which wearing it would not cheer me up. I cannot wait to take it for a spin on the appropriate dancefloor.

I bought a 'living Social' voucher that got me £25 spend for £10 so I spent on a dress that cost £42...so I think it cost me £27.....anyway if someone would be so kind it's from Sugarhill Boutique black dress with owls (please post a pic).

A brown gingham button down short sleeve shirt for £16 off ebay, of a type I already have two other shirts very similar to just in different colours, on the grounds that I can't have too many of something that suits me. Plus it's a handmade one.

A tan leather Betty Jackson bag off ebay. Followed by a dark blue Tula messenger bag, also off ebay. Never owned a proper handbag before, I feel quite grown up (and at a knockdown price too).

An incredibly boring black cardi, almost identical to my other one. I can't wait for spring, I've fallen into that winter habit of just buying plain black clothes.

I just bought some leopard print skinny jeans from M&S ( I don't usually buy my clothes there:oops:)

I've been trying to post a pic of them but can't

a very posh brown wool dress and a jersey wrap dress for work. both from ebay. i have become an ebay addict, i spent all day yesterday hunting for bargains.

Yep, they're the ones or at least I think they are. They looked nicer in the photo I saw though and darker. I'm not sure I like them in that photo :(
I bought them online so I've not seen them properly yet

Just checked, they are definitely a different colour from the ones I bought. I hope I like them when they get here

Ah, that's M&S for you. Search for 'leopard' and you get the white ones, search for 'animal' and you get shirl the brown ones.

Yes, it's the brown ones although I put leopard rather than animal into my search.
I couldn't quote GG's post without it taking up about half a page.

Brafail, just sending it back for a bigger size. I hate shopping for them online, they should *say* if one brand is remarkably smaller than another popular one ffs!

Anyway, it will be one of these eventually:

If that's a kris line bra the reviews on brastop say they come up small (backsize). I made the mistake of buying one without reading the reviews.

I bought a gorgeous dark red fleece and two Saville Row shirts in TK Maxx, one pink and white checked and the other with small pink flowers. Then I went to the Fossil shop and bought a little clutch bag with a wrist strap.

i recommend bravissimo because their customer reviews give a really good idea of sizing variations.
I already shop at Bravissimo, but I liked the look of this one and it's a brand they don't sell. Also this one was £15 marked down from £35, it's not often you find that much of a markdown on Bravissimo, you pay for the size selection. Not much you can do about guestimating your size in a different to your normal brand though when online shopping, and not seen this brand in shops round my way.

Trust, I've had massive norks for ages. I've shopped near enough everywhere. :(

It wasn't so much the back size, though it was small - I managed to get it done up with two fingers to spare - I normally end up on the middle to tightest fitting straight away on my size and this looked like it was going to last longer. Trouble is the cup size was to match the small back size, so I'm returning it for the next cup size up.
