Well that red dress looked horrible on, but I got a new skirt on offer :D

A purple jersey wrap dress, a dark green grandad shirt dress and 6 random skirts in the sale from American Apparel (they were in a mystery pack . 2 tube skirts (1 white, 1 red), 2 bias cut knee length skirts (1 mint green, 1 cerise) and 2 ra ra skirts (1 red, 1 black).

I also got 7 pairs of earrings from Accessorise now I am allowed to wear earrings :) Some owls, other birds, little blue flowers and a selection of sparkly studs.

MUST STOP BUYING CLOTHES FFS :D

nice aren't they? the laces were a pound more...

they appear to be of military origin - T&H bros if that means anything. with these and the peacoat, i'm going vintage military togs this winter by the looks of it...

I need a new waterproof/rain mac too..... :hmm:

:D

(Fuck it, I've taken some money out of my savings and finally replaced my tatty BRIGHT PINK  shitty, cheapo Regatta one, which is three sizes too big AND has had holes inside BOTH pockets for years....always having to fish round the hem to find lighters and small change  ....and I reckon I use my raincoat more than any other coat, tbf)

I want boots too, btw, B! :D (and my vote goes to the shorter FlyLondon ones, defo  ) but can't justify that one so well, seeing as how I've already got two pairs (one too big, one too small  ) and my newish walking boots*, which were cheap, but fit perfectly (maybe a BIT big  ), are dead comfy  and which I really ENJOY walking in...but there again, they've STUNK of damp since our BAD WALK on the Isle of Wight a month ago (when they were brand new). :(

Anyone know what I can do about that, btw? :hmm:

I tried sticking them in the washing machine, but only on a *handwash* (I'd rather have smelly boots than have to replace a washing machine which is under a year old)......and they still fucking smell.

That's probably one for a different thread, tbf, but I can't be arsed. :(

*Although they don't really count, eh?! :hmm:

shake bicarbonate of soda in them with a few drops of water and leave them overnight by a radiator?

bicarb works a treat ime sheo :)

i'm getting the art student fear  when i'm in college i feel dowdy, when i'm in town i feel garish. i'm hoping i can somehow walk this fine line by selling stuff on ebay and not having to spend any actual money :hmm: i may have to carve myself a more definite vintage niche. i'm thinking up which frock to rock tomorrow...

Why weren't you allowed to wear earrings before? :hmm:

Only just got them re-pierced after letting them close up about 12 years ago. Me and eme went on a mission to get earringed up a while ago :D Finally got through the 8 weeks (I'm sure it used to be 6 :hmm:) of not changing or taking out earrings.

I'm on another only buying from eBay, TKMaxx and charity shops campaign. I haven't bought anything recently but I got my nose pierced yesterday and bought a tiny pretend diamond stud to go in it.

I had an overwhelming and irresistible urge to by a pair of expensive sunnies, so I bought some oakleys  I think it might have been the loan that's gone into my account what done it. They are lush though :D

This for my lil boy, less than half the usual price, at TK Maxx. I want to get him in more colourful stuff than is standard for boys
