Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

1 very unremarkable denim skirt
1 pair very unremarkable black plimsolls
1 pair of those dangly earrings with stars on that come round regularly and are good for parties but I always lose them.

I accidentally had a bit of a spree yesterday

I got this in blue:

You'll notice there's a blue theme :D

I got some denim shorts with parrots on them for £7 in the Dotty P sale. :)

Am not buying ANY MORE SUMMER CLOTHES. Haven't worn half the ones I've got yet this year! Autumn/winter on the other hand...

What happened to those big knicker/ short things you bought, have you worn them out yet?

I haven't even worn them in, Shirl! :D

Tbh, they're a bit fackin tight round the waist - but there again, I prob wouldn't have worn them anyway - you know how sometimes you just HAVE to have something, even if it's just to look at. :D

I lol'd though cos you made a connection after that latest post.....when I'd been thinking that the first two, especially, are a bit Beverly Callard.... :(

(Although it might have been the shorts! They are for wearing when I'm doing the garden  cos I'm getting a right LongShortsTan)

are they stealth?!

:D

stealth polkadots* (and i suppose any pattern) are where you have say, black on black. So I have a dress which is black cotton with black flocked dots on it. Devore - raised velvet patterns on sheer fabric, and similar might be stealth, but especially when worn with a slip of the same colour underneath. same with lace.

*it's not a real fashion term, but low-contrast / textured dots *are* very next season.

Spangles - have you found the sizing on those collectif dresses a bit funny? Cos I've got 2 the same size and shape (albeit in different patterns) and one is much tighter than the other

the dolores doll? No lovey - I have four and the fit is identical.

edit - phone them, they're lovely but they don't give you long for returns.

Weird. It's not a problem, just the one I bought online a little while ago is a bit bigger round the back whereas the one I bought in the shop is bang on sizing wise (meaning I need memespring to zip me up :D). Must just be an anomaly.

I'll squat rather than bend ;) :p
Nah, I'm only really overlooked by the neighbours each side and I'm generally aware when they're *around* :hmm: so I'm pretty safe out there really  (although not so safe that I'd wear the pink ones, tbf :D ).
