I did very well at TK MAXX yesterday. Got a nice pair of Airwalk trainers/boots (like these) for £7 and a really nice pair of Lambretta jeans for £4

No, they are 'fashion' boots...seem pretty sturdy though.
I do live in a truck in a field though, so I needed sturdy boots, and I'm going Boomtown in less than a month...so I needed ones I liked...

Haven't bought any clothes all year bar a dress for a tenner a couple of months ago, so I was very pleased indeed to get a budget today from the jobcentre to buy some clothes for two interviews next week.
This is what I got, along with a blouse:
Not very me, but it's not bad and was much better than the rest of the stuff in the shop. I don't like this season's clothes much at all!
(It'd be a bit churlish of me to be too too upset that I wasn't allowed to get the jumpsuit below, the one that fit perfectly and I'd be likely to wear and wear to the interviews and to work once I get a job, that was really smart and perfect with a cream jacket I'd also have got had the jumpsuit not been deemed by the shop to be not formal enough

4 hairtoys in different colours. Basically a shortish length of those springy no-tie shoelaces with a chiffon double rosette glued at each end. They can be wrapped around and then locked onto themselves without tangling or breaking any hair.
