Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Major result on this front today. I had to go to the shops to return some stuff and stuck my head into Monsoon and they had one of these left with £25 off, not in my size, but in my friend's size. She is a total 50s gal and was also lusting after this dress but resisting because of the price, and she has a birthday in a couple of weeks so I rang her husband and offered to get it for him to give her, which he leapt at. So I will have the vicarious satisfaction of her wearing it :)

That's such a lovely thing to do. Perhaps you would like to perform the same service for hendo - it's my birthday in a week or so. :D

More machine dye. I've revitalised loads of clothing. The best result is a pair of green trousers that are now a deep conker colour.

ooh love these...

In my clothes news I am still waiting on my shoes from debenhams as they didn't have my size at first but now my order says 'despatched' so maybe this week. I'm trying not to buy anything but I do need a summer jacket that is not denim...any suggestions? I haven't gone shopping for one yet but working up to it. The past 2 weekends I have gone away and come back with a silver ring & a pair of garnet studs from a shop selling from www.karenhilltribes.org.uk and a pair of star earrings from www.katehh.co.uk

I also discovered the label 'bohemia' but managed to resist buying anything.

I love them too

No ideas about jackets moonsi, I need to replace my brown denim one that is really tattery. This site might help though: http://www.shopstyle.co.uk/

I *may* have bought some shoes...

Both were on offer, but I will be sorting through shoes when I get home anyway to ease the guilt :D

a dude i know went to a levi's vintage clothing sample sale this morning - i've acquired this lovely linen shirt off him for a steal.

apparently most of the stuff in the sale hasn't gone into production, so it's essentially a one-off.

It looks filthy!

I got myself a raspberry coloured, sleeveless wrap dress with a collar from debenhams. Sounds a bit odd and the picture doesn't really do it justice, its really flattering (imo) and I lurve it! Apart from the sleeveles bit but I just shove a cardi on :)

Love that cardi, Sheo. It's super!

I bought some very functional sports bras from kind of seconds/knock offs/too ugly to actually be sold in the western market shop today, as under-wiring and padding is not really suited to hot hot summers.

Finally got to the shops on the last day of holiday in Italy yesterday (Abruzzo seems to keep an absurdly long siesta time, so we were never around when they were open) and mum and I found a great, really cheap accessories shop, where we went a bit mad and I decided to address my current earring shortage (hadn't worn any for ages and found I don't have many I want to wear/that go with my necklaces). Got one set of studs shaped like pistols, bronze-effect feather earrings with a blue bead above each one, dangly silver wavy ones with obsidian oval bits in them and a set of three with white studs, dangly punky stars and little pink dice dangly earrings. Cost me just over 20 Euros, should address earring crisis for now. :)

Is that a joke? It's all frayed with crappily fixed buttons. If it's not a joke, well, they saw you coming.

Anyway, I bought 5 cartons of machine dye and some dye-stripper for a black tunic (which will go a lovely gunmetal grey after dye-stripping). I re-dye loads of my clothes. it's like buying a new outfit for a fiver :)

I'm a big fan of dylon myself, although the black's disappointing. Currently dying lots of things rosewood.

I guess they saw me coming mrs m. It was very cheap though... And tbh the distressing is pretty subtle on this shirt, in comparison to some of the other items in the range.

I won't post pics of them. You might tut.
