I bought a plain black cotton dress off ebay that I'm going to edge with gingham bias binding to match my gingham doc martens.

Wonder Woman pyjamas, bought just for the T shirt top. The trousers are about 5" too long and will get hacked short, if the spirit moves me.
A few white cotton T shirts, for dyeing etc.
A vaguely leopard print cotton summer dress of the "throw on and forget about it" type.

No. As if it matters. Therefore VP isn't gay, for the benefit of those urbanites wishing to update their files.

Sorry, doesn't matter at all, just had a picture of you in my mind that wasn't necessarily compatible with a summer dress. :D

I haven't bought a single thing this month in an effort to save money. I've seen an emerald green maxi dress which would enhance my life... WANT

:D TBF most of the year I do live in trousers or leggings of some sort.

Soo many lovely dresses in this thread. Almost makes me wish I had the balls to wear them (metaphorically speaking).

So this skirt came through but it was a bit too big, so went off to New Look to swap it for something else. Got a nice pair of small denim shorts instead. New Look's clothes seem to be really big this season

Is that green one <shudder, gulp> polyester? I like the top part of it, but it'd need to be a lot shorter, maybe with an asymetric or pointy hemline to work on me.

I admit it, I'm a snob about synthetics - bad memories of drip dry nylon, but if you're happy with it, I'm not knocking it

woo for warehouse and their skimpy sizing. i got my flowery dress in a 12 and it fits okay. the arms are a bit loose but i should be able to put a tuck in them to keep them in place. mr bob was gratifyingly  when he saw me in it :D

i picked up some vintage lotus veldtschoen shoes. proper heavy duty construction: i think they were built to last a lifetime. need a bit of love & polish, but i reckon they'll look pretty sweet by the weekend.

i bought a fantastic strapless bra yesterday. been wearing it all day not fallen out or had to fiddle with it once. every other strapless i've tried has either been hopeless or uncomfortable or a funny shape or too specialist for everyday wear.

i dunno. are you a boy or a lady?

unfortunately width sizes don't appear to be standard accross all manufacturers, so it may be a sizing scheme used only by the manufacturer - might be worth looking at their website for guidance?

(@ smudge. i know bob's a lad)
